Hello everyone, and greetings from from MW California! I am going to be visiting your side of the Disney magic in January and was wondering what to expect as far as weather, crowds and what-not. Also, which parks might I want to dedicate an extra day to? We are going for a week and it's our first time! Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
Welcome! I personally have never been at that time of year. From what I have been told it can get chilly. Hopefully Uppity sees this post and can help you with that. We always do more then one day at MK. You can do AK in half a day. Just pace yourself. There is a ton to see and do.Hope you have a great time! - Ariel42

You will definately need more than one day for Epcot! It's like two parks in one (Future World & World Showcase). It's my favorite park followed by HS. AK takes less than a day and, if you frequent DL, you won't need to spend as much time @MK. Try not to get overwhelmed & have fun! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

Check out some Disney sites like allears.net, Mouseplanet.com, etc. Key to WDW is planning. SO MUCH to see and do. You really need to have an idea of what you want to see and do before you go. Touring Plans has park plans to maximize your experience. At that time of year crowds should not be a big factor. - jacdanfan
