Anyone eaten dinner at Garden Grove? I made ressies for our birthday dinner and hope it's great and not disappointing (not that we've found that at Disney). Just thought I'd ask other MWers experiences there!

MrsI - here's the info on the cakes. I called in this morning for our littliest birthday celebration. You can ask at any podium at the restaurants and they have cakes available for $21. Or you can call ahead and ask if that's better for you. I'm ordering a specialty cake, but if you need one you need to know they call you back within 3 days so don't wait too long!!

Just purchased our tix for the xmas party. Was kind of a pain. For some reason when I selected "will call" the site wouldn't advance to the payment screen. When I selected "standard delivery" that is when it went to the payment screen. Stinker still doesn't know about this trip. Now I have just one other set of tickets to purchase for this surprise. Then when I get the dining reservations done, I will be able to relax and wait. Hahaha, couldn't even keep a straight face through that one. Relax and wait? MW family - I need some help. This question is for those of you that have done Chip and Dale's Campfire . . . do you need to bring your own campfire forks? I know it says you can buy stuff there to make s'mores, but we have to bring our own food, wasn't sure on the sticks.

Good afternoon/evening! I want to thank all my MW family for your thoughts, prayers, pixie dust and personal texts these past weeks. I'm glad that the week is over! I'm trying to look on the bright side of all my bad news. And to update you all on my littlest angel: Her blood test told us she has an autoimmune disease AND that she is allergic to milk and eggs, UGH! Her autoimmune disease is Celiac. This meant a lot of food cut out of her diet and those M&Ms (her fave) were hard to deal with losing. When we first got her bloodwork back we weren't sure it was Celiac, diabetes, Crohn's disease or something else. I wish she didn't have Celiac, but I'm thankful that it's not something worse. The specialist also told us to ignore the milk and egg allergies, because food allergy tests are not often accurate. Unless you have Celiac or know someone close to you that does, it's much more than not eating bread and it's hard for a little child to understand it. Already she has accidentally eaten something she shouldn't have at school for snack time with a sub teacher there. She felt very bad that afternoon. Over time it'll get easier, I know, since my other daughter has it. Our biggest hurdles are yet to come with 2 birthday parties coming up. Again, thanks to everyone for caring and thinking of her!

SOO many people in my family have celiac! And everyone deals with it great! We hve this great recipe we make "flourless chocolate cupcakes" super easy to make and SOOO GOOD! Google it it should pop right up! And please take note that disney is EXTREMELY and INCREDIBLY accomodating at EVRY SINGLE RESTERAUNT for my family members with celiac!!! - Boardwalkgirl
