Its crazy to think that its been 3 years. It honestly feels a lot longer..Its amazing at how big the community has gotten since the very first meetup..The life long friendships, the dreams that have come true, and the laughter that we all have in the parks on a daily basis.Its so neat to see all these meetups on a daily basis that get up to 80 people and happen not only at the parks but all over the state of California..Its pretty crazy to think that none of us would probably have ever met if it were not for this app...There are not many of us from the beginning who still actively post on MouseWait or attend meetups but I know that each and everyone of them is extremely grateful for the people who have been brought into their lives because of this app....I know some people might get annoyed at times by people posting in the lounge and their countdowns to the park, what is your favorite ride, etc etc but you have to remember, you were once that new kid on the block that was just as excited to post in the lounge and join in on the fun and not read the FAQ....I look forward this weekend seeing old friends and meeting new ones and finally getting the chance to meet some of you that I've seen in the lounge for sometime but never had the chance to meet in person....Hope everyone has a fun a weekend!!! Thanks to Mousewait: I think leggings and uggs are a viable fashion choice, I tried (and failed) to eat a Matterhorn sundae by myself, I know who Denny Hamlin is, I know where all the bars are in the resort, I've had many sleepless nights and a phone fall on my face more than once, I know about penny wise and honey badgers and Rebecca black and gangnam style and hidin yo kids, I witnessed a banana peeled, I own vinylmations and pins and earhats and about $1000 worth of crap from company d. Yeah, thanks. 😏 Actually, I have a lot to thank MW for: late night craft frenzies, staying up all night talking in our hotel rooms, going to WDW with people I barely knew 6 months, realizing that we know everyone on our floor, pizza parties, group texts, squeezing 40 people on a jungle cruise boat and making the skipper laugh too hard to spiel, going to gay days and bats day and dapper day and Harry potter day, answering "80" when the cm asks "how many?" and then watching them panic, reading about the MW babies being born and watching them grow up and finally being tall enough to ride the big kid rides, skipping down main street arm in arm like a bunch of doofuses, ☔ on pirates, dressing up like plaids and getting a talking to by security, meat babies, laying on the ground to watch fireworks, having someone text "are you home safely?" at 2am, and always being there for you, even when life sucks. Just a quick reminder of something I posted back in May after my first (and only) big MW meet up at the reunion: The meet ups and weekend were fantastic partly because I took the initiative to step outside of my shy comfort zone and introduce myself and meet others. I really wished that I could go to the MW Bday Bash! It's my birthday on the 20th as well. But I can't go. Bummers. Just got AP's last month for my whole family and had a whole week at DLR. We will be back in the ending of May. For now, this cool MW app will have to do for now. I love this app!
