I have a question...my husband and I went to see a movie last night and what we thought that started out like a TV commercial for a "college" ended up being a trailer (we think, fingers crossed) for Monsters University! Is this truly goin More...

I know right?! I've been thinking...we leave or should I say, we will be in the park starting 11/22/12 and I saw this one RAK that involved a locker! I thought of getting a few other things together and doing a RAK while we are there! I'm getting excited thinking about it! - mrscttlemstr236.7 #1142 11-10-12 12:17PMLike Reply
How nice! You will be in the parks again before you know it! Enjoy! - meridafan1031.9 #84 11-10-12 1:17PMLike Reply
I agree...but we are in Central California and don't get a great break for an AP...it's least another $300 :(
But we still love Disney no matter the cost! Just means we need to work harder to get to play the way we like :) - mrscttlemstr 236.7 #1142 10-20-12 9:53PM
can you use this as a DOWN and then do monthly? - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1761.8 #43 10-21-12 11:17AM
Agreed! I live in Nor Cal by SF and paid 469 for my AP. Not much more than the costco price! Plus thank you Disney for monthly payments :) - NeverlandPan7.3 #7970 10-21-12 6:12PMLike Reply
Yes, you have all talked me into it! Thanks for all the support :) - mrscttlemstr236.7 #1142 10-23-12 1:05PMLike Reply

I believe I read the rules correctly and think the Hub is where I can post this...I want to thank our service people everywhere especially for tomorrow on "Rememberance Day" 9/11! And thank you MW for everything you do to make this a spec More...
God bless our servicemen and women, our emergency response crews and the families of the victims of that tragic day. May we never forget the events that transpired 11 years ago nor should we forget what those brave people did for our country. Our fellow countrymen stood defiant in the face of death and showed the character of all Americans in the fact that they did not stand by and accept their fate, they fought back. Let us not forget that average Americans risked all and some gave all to help others escape those buildings. This is is what it truly means to be American. - shadowgamer1954.3 #37 9-11-12 7:53AMLike(7) Reply
Still pretty new to MW and have a question about points. I was accused of trying to get points off my post by someone that had a really good ranking last week. (i deleted asap because i dont want any bad mojo)Honestly, I really enjoy comi More...
hm. I don't quite understand what happened. But points come from Quality content- this means, for example: sharing breaking news, posting LIVE photos from the Parks or doing a RAK. Googled pics are highly frowned upon bc it takes up precious bandwith. (Every post does not need a pic)You can also get points by being thanked for said reasons above. Or adding Wait times at the Park- what this app is about or by playing MW trivia via fb. Points unlock cool things like music, being able to watch fireworks via the Mattercam and more :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint1761.8 #43 8-26-12 8:42PMLike(2) Reply
This explains so much! So then how do you thank people? - mrscttlemstr 236.7 #1142 8-26-12 8:49PM

I have a question regarding the Disney Hotels...we are planning trip for November and have never stayed at one of Disney's hotels. Having a hard time choosing which one to stay at. My kids are older but the Magic of Disney we will never o More...
We have stayed at all three. I prefer the Grand. I like fresh air and they have balconies in every room. But I think it's only worth the cost if you have a park view room. Watching the park wake up and go to sleep is awesome. Plus, you are so close to GRR that you can go on 10 x. Get soaked then go change. Lol. The DL hotel is nice. The light up beds are great but no fresh air unless you are on a top floor. PP is great for the view and the rooms are bigger. But I would only stay with an upper floor view room. But honestly, you will love whichever one you stay at. After all... It's Disney! ;-) - SueBayou2012.0 #34 8-5-12 6:41PMLike(6) Reply
👆I second all this--love the atmosphere, proximity to the parks, and balconies at the Grand! - Spoonful_O_Sugar 435.7 #283 8-5-12 7:05PM
I have stayed at the Grand Californian. It is an awesome hotel. Not only is it beautiful but it is also the closest to the parks. Unfortunately it is also the most expensive but so worth it. - CinderellasMom264.5 #873 8-5-12 6:06PMLike(3) Reply
We've stayed at the DL and the Grand. For some reason we prefer the DL hotel. The rooms have more spaced in them and the pool is more fun at the DL hotel. I have 7 year old triplet boys and when we stayed at the Grand, we had a nice park view but we didn't feel as though we had quite enough room for all of us. The DL hotel has a sofa in the room that turns into a bed. The Grand doesn't have that option in their standard rooms. IDK about the rooms on the concierge level. Also, the bathrooms in the Grand were much smaller than the bathrooms in the DL hotel. - hueydeweyandlouie49.1 #3767 8-5-12 7:34PMLike Reply
This helps a lot! We need the sofa bed since I have 2 daughters 19&15 and our son is 17. We can't fit them in one bed anymore LOL! Now, the bathroom, is the sink outside of the shower and toilet area? We're not picky, but it helps with the girls not hogging up the mirror :) - mrscttlemstr 236.7 #1142 8-5-12 7:50PM
The sink in my room at the DL Hotel was separate from the shower and toilet. It was across the entrance hall. The closet was in the same area as the sink - VeloMouseGirl 549.7 #202 8-5-12 7:59PM
