Are there currently any early entry offers for pass holders? We are coming down from Vegas in a week. Can't wait!
Not at this time. They did for a few weekends earlier in the spring. If you are staying on property you can get a magic morning I think. - IDVandalSkipperCM1326.3 #61 6-2-13 7:44AMLike Reply
Not now. Just make sure you're in the gates for the rope drop and you'll be able to do lots before it gets crowded! - BRabbit333.9 #467 6-2-13 7:58AMLike Reply
Radiator Springs Racers will not open until 10 AM again today. Plan accordingly.
A little bummed that they kept the fast pass distribution at RSR closed until 8 with the ride closed til 10. It basically made our annual pass holder early event obsolete. Not cool. Oh well. Did Luigi, Mater, will eat breakfast in a bit and do Toy Story Mania too. - joshwikler46.9 #3882 8-2-12 7:38AMLike Reply
Josh, sorry it did not go as planned, but you are THERE. One attraction down does not make it obsolete. Hope your day gets better. Look for magic elsewhere. it's there! :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1837.7 #43 8-2-12 7:45AM
Who all has done the early entry for APs at DCA? We are registered for tomorrow morning. What can you tell me about it? How do it go? Tips? Advice? Thanks y'all!
Josh please don't listen to mickeynewguy. I would also love to know answers to your question. I have never been to early morning. Usually because we have passes and it is for hotel visitors or 3 day or more park hopper tix. But I love that Disney is offering it to try for ap holders. Also we are not morning people and I don't think I could ever get up early enough to do this. I hope you have a blast! - ImAlwaysCrazy646.5 #171 8-1-12 9:21PMLike(3) Reply
Dude, just cause no one comments doesnt mean youre not in they in crowd. we dont even have one of those here! - theRealDisneygirlforevr175.3 #1958 8-1-12 9:12PMLike Reply
Went to DCA, went straight to the Racers but they were down till 8:33am, I only remember this because my group decided we would leave if it wasn't running by 8:30, but we couldn't bring ourselves to leave after investing that much time and its a good thing we didn't! If we had left at 8:30 as planned we still would have been walking out and would have heard everyone cheering when it finally started up. Once it got moving we were off in 20 minutes. The delay did take some of the magic out of our magical morning but we were able to salvage the day! - epaphus98155.0 #2267 8-1-12 9:38PMLike Reply
We got there early. Went to RSR. Waited about 10 min. Sent the kids to scream'n while I waited for RSR fast passes. Then went to Toy Story. Then back to Carsland to hit the other rides. Got a snack and enjoyed the Red Car Trolley (no one else was on it). Then just took the rest of the day as it came. Hope you have a grand time. - sewedna103.4 #3035 8-1-12 10:00PMLike Reply
Major issues on California Screamin tonight. They are down to two working cars. They told the single rider line that they are "the lowest priority" and it could be "a while."
We were in queue. We had to exit rapidly. It also evacuated Cafe Orleans. - joshwikler 46.9 #3882 7-31-12 12:44PM
No! I hope they didn't really burn down the village. Those pillagers are a wild bunch. All kidding aside, I hope everything is OK. - AKMouse376.7 #371 7-31-12 12:05PMLike Reply
Any update on what might have happened? - Disneymba39.3 #4089 7-31-12 1:42PMLike Reply
No update on what happened but the ride is back up and running. I know they reseated everyone eating at the restaurants because of it. Everything seems to be running normally now. - joshwikler46.9 #3882 7-31-12 2:09PMLike Reply
mesh netting on boat "windows" and bumpers on docks so people don't lose things overboard or have fingers smashed. Also adding a part where you do a loop over Schweitzer Falls and some mermaids and pandas. - shadowgamer1960.6 #36 7-30-12 5:05PMLike(1) Reply
Last week ABC Local news reported that it was going down for refurbishments until Wednesday this week. See if they are correct. They're parent company is Disney. - pattyhill166.9 #2092 7-30-12 5:12PMLike Reply
A week from now, we will be rolling into town from Vegas. Haven't been to the parks for over a year and we are now coming with a five year old and a two year old and staying 4-5 days. Any advice?
Have fun! Enjoy and cherish the moments ..... I'm the happiest when I'm at DL. I have a totally different mindset than I do when in the "normal" world. - MinnieCarman214.4 #1455 7-22-12 11:36AMLike(1) Reply
My two and a half year old loves It's A Small World and The Little Mermaid. Dancing With Disney and Disney Jr Live are awesome for kids. Don't forget the Aladdin show as well. - ScooterMike1959.8 #37 7-22-12 11:23AMLike Reply
Tom Sawyer island is a nice place for them to run around and have fun exploring. don't forget to take a break during the day. Whether it's at the hotel or just kicking back in some shade having lunch. - LovePiglet7639.2 #4091 7-22-12 11:32AMLike Reply
This sounds obvious, but I see so many families melt down from forgetting to eat and trying to do too much. Anticipate mealtimes. Eat before everyone gets hungry--don't try to go on "one more ride" before lunch because by the time you settle on the restaurant, wait in line to order, and find a table, the kids will be starving (and probably a bit whiny). Also keep snacks and water handy to stave off the "hungry grumpies." And make sure to go back to the hotel rest during the hot part of the day. Have so much fun! - Spoonful_O_Sugar439.1 #288 7-22-12 12:03PMLike Reply
I am traveling to Disneyland at the end of the month and am looking for options for tickets to get an annual pass. Right now I'm kicking myself for not looking ahead and buying before the price hike. I would've saved my family over $300. More...
My best friend bought tickets from Craigslist with the intent of proposing to his girlfriend in front of the castle. The tickets turned out to be fake. Great way to start his trip haha. The point is, DO NOT BUY from Craigslist. - Slotherini911.7 #100 7-15-12 11:27AMLike(3) Reply
ugh! so sad. what did he end up doin? - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 1837.7 #43 7-15-12 11:29AM
He ended up buying an annual pass for the two of them and did propose, but all sorts of things didn't go to plan haha. - Slotherini 911.7 #100 7-15-12 11:33AM
Do NOT buy from places that aren't authorized to sell Disney tickets. My friend purchased tickets online from Disney the other day and it got flagged somehow. Anyway, they were stopped at the turnstiles and taken to City Hall. When they got there, security was waiting for them. It took over 2 hours to prove that the tickets were not frauds. I would hate to have your vacation start this way. - alwaysbouncinby320.5 #536 7-15-12 12:02PMLike Reply
Thanks for the comments MW Family! It is unlikely that we will buy anything other than tickets from Disney's online site. Just doing my research. Thanks! - joshwikler46.9 #3882 7-15-12 2:24PMLike Reply
