Disney Jr. Stage show, Goofy's playground in Toontown, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in DCA has some slides and smaller net bridges, baby care centers in both parks for breaks, and the Animation Academy is also fun. - EpicDio381.7 #354 3-20-13 10:18PMLike Reply

We took DG19 on the train from SD to see it there when she was about four/five, the Lil One's age now. That would be cool if we could take Lil One to see it too! DG19 remembers it clearly, it was such a magical evening! (Sad memory of the night. DG19 fell asleep the last 20 mins of the show, as much as she tried to stay awake. My hubby was holding her after the show as we were walking out. This man came up to us and went off saying things like "I can't believe you brought her here. She is too young. It's too much money to spend on a kid that won't remember, etc". What a jerk. He was wrong!) - PrincessDuckie587.4 #187 2-22-13 8:56AMLike Reply
When Brooklynne was about eight months I took her to the movies. She slept the whole time. Not even a peep from her. Some woman came up to me after and told me I was ruining her perceptions and other ridiculous stuff. I hate when people tell you how to parent your children. - Deltachiq 969.0 #90 2-22-13 9:34AM

I remember that. Back when the monorail went over the parking lot. Many, many years ago. Brings back memories of going to DL with my parents and my brother after our parent teacher conferences each October. :-) - Mamashappyplace73.9 #3342 2-21-13 6:54AMLike Reply

hello fellow MWers I am now able to use my app. again....excited to share my Disney-tastic. moments!! whats your fav disney moment? ?
For sure washthe time we surprised our kids by waking them up to us screaming "get in the car" at 4 am and driving to Disneyland. They had no idea where we were going and I made a poem for every stop along the 10 hour drive. They had no idea til we were in California ( we drove from Utah) and the pure joy on their faces when they figured it out. - nightmaremom4.4 #12056 2-13-13 10:07PMLike(1) Reply

I was just telling my husband if Walt could see how his dream has grown. He was an amazing man = -) - BriarBeauty60.7 #3565 8-16-12 8:21PMLike Reply
I was just telling my mom..aunt and uncle..i always think "if only he were here..he would be so proud" im sure that if he was still around or even stayed around longer things beyond our imagination could of happened. Walt once siad himself "disneyland will never be finished"...well something beyond those lines...which is true keeps growing....
My mom sat with him on the monorail way back in the day...im sure if i could meet him now i'd be speechless - bellerie 11.6 #6304 8-17-12 12:34AM

what is the most embarassing thing that has happened to you while at the parks??....come on dont be shy...spill!
Aside from my Jafar incident (which I hardly think bears repeating three times) my most embarrassing moment was in WOD. I was busy shopping and admiring all the pretty. When I looked down at my stroller, I was momentarily stunned. Ut was not my stroller or my child. Apparently, while I was too caught up in looking at stuff I could not afford, I unconsciously swapped strollers with someone, kid and all. The mother whose baby I was pushing had seen me make my innocent mistake, and was laughing at me until I noticed my error. By the time I figured it out, half the store was watching. I was unanimously voted worst parent of the day. - LittleAprilShowers471.0 #257 8-12-12 11:33AMLike(15) Reply

When I ate at the Blue Bayou 2 years ago I ordered the "cahoon salmon" ..never really thought about how cajun was spelled before that night and just blurted out the pronunciation that popped into my head first when i saw it on the menu. The Waiter stared blankly until my dad corrected me. The waiter Was polite and didnt ever say anything about it but my family still makes fun of me for it - madamdopey26149.8 #2294 8-12-12 12:28AMLike(14) Reply

I was at the playground in ToonTown helping my son go down the slide. As I was bending over and backing up, while he was going down the slide, I backed into this poor little girl and she bounced off my bum and fell on hers. I felt so bad, luckily the father was laughing about it and not mad at me. Glad to know I have extra padding lol! - kss4tink216.8 #1396 8-12-12 9:15PMLike Reply
