I have stayed and the reno is amazing. Not just the rooms but the pool areas as well. The new fireplace outside and of course the reno of restaurants yippee. I absolutely love the Grand but DLH is still my favorite. - ShariRenee

We love the DL hotel, we stay there just about every trip! We have done the tree and stockings for the room and our kids were in amazement! We told them they had been do good that year that Santa must have sent them a special treat! It was priceless. Now we bring the tree back every year and decorate our own room ( the kids are older now)- but we buy new Disney ornaments to decorate the tree in the room, then take it home and display in our entry way. It's great! If memory serves me correct the tree is about $200- $250 and the stockings were about $100 each. Pricey- but we thought it was worth it for the amazing experience our kids had and our memories! - HpplyEvrAftr

I miss Glowfest. I liked that it was all mobile. Everything was moved in at night and during the day you couldn't tell that there was a street party at night. I'm not a fan of the huge structures that are there now. - LilSterner

You can never go wrong with taking photos with Minnie on your iPad! Seriously, my favourite part of any morning is having breakfast at the Plaza Inn. Character visits, no lines, and delicious food! (oh and coffee...)

It's a gorgeous sunny day, and very few people in the park around New Orleans Square. I'm sitting over at the French Market Cafe, having a coffee from the Mint Julep Bar. There is a live band playing, and it is absolutely swell!

It was pouring buckets of rain today. The chilly weather made the lines nice a short though, and dinner reservations were hardly needed! I'm glad I wore a hooded jacket today - I was surprised by the heavy showers.
