I just love the teapot and chip from beauty and the beast in Tarzan's Treehouse. So cute! It's been a while since I visited. I just introduced my family to the adorableness of the treehouse today.
And you have to try the Tarzan-Yell from the top of the treehouse.

That was just the problem. EVERYBODY likes big balls.
The problem was that people were taking too long to load, grabbing some balls before settling into their tires.

One more day until our family vacation! I'm bringing family members to DLH and the "new" park, DCA for the first time!
How fun! Enjoy! My parents still haven't seen DCA, and I'm fearing that I'll never be able to talk them into going, lol. - Spoonful_O_Sugar439.1 #288 12-8-12 8:12PMLike(1) Reply

You can still come early and pic a spot and save it, just like fireworks, then stand when the ceremony starts. I have a feeling we will do this several times this year.:) - secretagentangel710.6 #143 11-26-12 10:55PMLike(1) Reply
NachoBear and I can't make it to the Park tonight, so we thought we would celebrate Halloween with an Alice and Mad Hatter-style tea party in costume before handing out candy to the kiddies.
Have fun tonight everyone, and be safe!
I'm extremely excited for this coming December. We are doing an early Christmas vacation with the whole family. I haven't had a chance to stay at the newly renovated Disneyland Hotel, so does anyone have any feedback on the new renos?

I have stayed and the reno is amazing. Not just the rooms but the pool areas as well. The new fireplace outside and of course the reno of restaurants yippee. I absolutely love the Grand but DLH is still my favorite. - ShariRenee1576.2 #51 10-25-12 1:28PMLike(1) Reply
I'm really looking forward to the new fireplace! Hopefully it won't be too chilly out for enjoying the pool. It will be nice to have a bigger pool deck than at the Grand Californian. - dccp 348.3 #430 10-25-12 5:55PM
It's a great place to stay! Fireworks on your headboard. Comfortable beds. Definitely
Bigger room than in the Grand. Nice bathrooms. Love

We love the DL hotel, we stay there just about every trip! We have done the tree and stockings for the room and our kids were in amazement! We told them they had been do good that year that Santa must have sent them a special treat! It was priceless. Now we bring the tree back every year and decorate our own room ( the kids are older now)- but we buy new Disney ornaments to decorate the tree in the room, then take it home and display in our entry way. It's great! If memory serves me correct the tree is about $200- $250 and the stockings were about $100 each. Pricey- but we thought it was worth it for the amazing experience our kids had and our memories! - HpplyEvrAftr222.4 #1356 10-25-12 8:19PMLike Reply
