My dad was diagnosed with cancer, and my friend Marsha gave me a huge pick me up when we meet at Disneyland.. It was a great stress reliever for me. Disneyland has always and will be a special place for my family and I. When I was younger, we used to go about every year. The exciting feeling of entering those gates and walking towards the castle was a chance for us to leave all of our worries at home and a place to have fun as a family. I remember I wouldn't sleep the night before because I was so excited. Away from the park, I was (and currently still) reading and learning how this magical place was built and amazing people who designed and built everything. Now working at DL and being there about 5 days a week, the magic hasn't worn off in any way.
