We called and they said the AP discount is 20% and the MW discount is only 15% so it's better to go with the AP. We always go a day early for pool/dowtown Disney time. Most hotels will let you check in early, leave luggage and use the pool. We did that at the DLH last time! We are in San Diego also! I would say Tuesday, as there is no grad night. Also, I was in the park one year the day after Memorial day (although it was years ago), and it was very slow. Most schools are still in session, so it's a school day. All passes are valid the days in question, except So Cal Select is blocked Friday, which will probably not make much of a difference. Can I renew my AP online??? Tried to do it @ the parks on Wed but the lines at the ticket booths were INSANE!!! My pass expires tomorrow and I need to renew ASAP! LoL

So, to those of you with kids......are you doing Leap Day with or without the kiddos???? I think we are leaving ours with grandma, as sad as I'll be in the park w/out them.....I think it would be too much to stay awake for the 9pm-6am
I'm treating this event like it's a Grad Nite.. small children just don't belong there for this. I'm sorry folks, but it's the sad truth. This event is going to bring out some pretty detestable folk, people who manage to smuggle in liquor and what not, and I'm prepared for it. The rest of you should be too. Now I'm freaking out, out sitter JUST backed out and I have nooooo back up! My kids can be taken care of overnight, but not during the day, which means park might be @ capacity before we can get there, also we would need to be back in San Diego by 6am, no sitter, so we'd have to leave the parks by 4 at the very latest, kinda sad.
