I grew up with Disneyland as my park . So many great memories. Married to an awesome man , mom of 3 , teenage+. When I go to my "Happy Place it's always Disney. My kids really enjoy how Disney brings out the happy kid in me!

If I'm planning to shop I bring my big "hippie" bag...it's lightweight but holds a lot of stuff. If its a non- shopping visit and I get a locker for my sweatshirt, I take a small over-the- shoulder travel bag for my phone and little stuff. I tend to wear Cargos to keep my AP/FPs in. It's a really good deal. But what I like most about it is it frees you from having to worry about every photo op in the park. There are Disney photographers all over the place. They just take your pic and scan your card. Your pic goes into your Photo Pass collection and you can go to the Photo store anytime to see them. I have been debating this too. When are you going? If you decide to purchase it you can save $50 by ordering the cd before you go. Stayed ther on our last trip . Walked across the street , through the parking, then Downtown D . It was a very convenient location. And we were able to go night swimming after the park closed.( summer time)

We are planning a DL stay from sunday 7/29/12 to Friday 8/3/12. Any opinions or advise will be greatly appreciated ! Chose those dates as not to take son out of HS for a week. Would not be good:)

Even when crowded, the parks are incredible! I went one year for New Year's, and the parks were maxed out--couldn't buy DL tickets, only park hoppers. To put that in perspective--POTC had a 3.5 hour wait! Even though my mom and I vowed to never go back during that time, we ended up going again for the next 3 years simply because it is fun to be there!
My advice--Work the fast pass system. As soon as you get there, get a FP for your favorite ride (if they have them) and then go on your second fav, get off in time to go back to the first ride again! Rinse and repeat =). Mom and I did that two weekends ago, and we did all of our favorite DL rides in 5 hours (which is most of them, haha).
One note--A CM (which Baseball may be able to affirm) told us that the second time on the FP doesn't really matter. So long as you wait until the start time, you could go 4 hours later for all they care. We used FP tickets that were 4 hours old and were still admitted!
