I live in Seattle & took my first trip to Dineyland as a baby. I finally made it to WDW for the first time in 1998 & Disneyland Paris in 2007. Finally, in 2012 I became a proud Disney Vacation Club member!

Retro DCA anyone? Here are some "vintage" pins, most from the original Paradise Pier.
I don't miss any of those things. Thank you, John Lassiter. - WeMetAtDisneyLand  41.8 #3948 2-5-12 2:04PM Like(2)  Reply

Question... I bought my Mom a D23 gift membership for Christmas. She can't figure out how to "activate" her membership online (and I can't do it for her from 1,100 miles away). I suggested she call them tomorrow.
There should be a letter behind the certificate, you have to email guest.service@disneystore.com(there will be a memo line that they will say what to put in there) and that's how it will activate the membership to get the biweekly newsletters - DisneyTrueLove  6.2 #8929 12-26-11 8:41PM Like(1)  Reply
Thanks! I'll let her know. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  395.6 #6 12-26-11 8:50PM

In just 30 days I return to DL for the first time in 6 years! So, what's changed (besides my hair - that's me in front)? What can't we miss?
Star Tours has changed, don't miss that! Also the new Little Mermaid ride at DCA! It's awesome :) - Nyghtngale  547.9 #204 9-22-11 6:19PM Like  Reply
I love your shoes! I had them too and wore them for the first time to DL. Big mistake! Got huge blisters on my heels, could barely walk at the end. Still loved them and wore them all the time (when the blisters healed.) - jjdq  326.7 #491 9-23-11 3:51AM Like  Reply
@Spoonful, that is quite a comprehensive list! Thanks everyone. A few of these we have done either at DL or WDW, but others will be brand new! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  395.6 #6 9-23-11 12:42PM Like  Reply
Many changes in DCA: World of Color, Toy Story Midway Mania, and new Little Mermaid . A new dining area on Paradise Pier has really good food! lots of construction walls for new attractions. Disneyland= Star Tours has been refurbished and updated, better & more motion sickness; Space Mountain is Ghost Galaxy for Halloween; Haunted Mansion has a Nightmare Before Christmas; Village Haus and Hungry Bear have new menus, and there's a newer Mexican restaurant by Thunder Mountain. Updated Tiki Room & Jungle Cruise with piranhas. And no more Jolly Trolly ride. It costs $6,000. to get in and 14 to park. Have a Magical time. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 9-23-11 1:07PM Like  Reply

Any MWs in St Louis? I just found out I'm headed there for a conference next month. I will have some free time and I'm looking for some things to do. I will be staying at the Hyatt for the conference. Thanks!
Anyone??? Anyone ever visited St. Louis? - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  395.6 #6 8-8-11 6:37PM Like  Reply
I was there last August for a convention. Hot and humid. Stayed at the Hyatt by the Arch. Nice place. - sewgirl  340.5 #431 8-8-11 6:45PM Like  Reply
