i would go in dec. beautiful decorations. august can be quite hot- but that's when the water attractions are more attractive. I hate to say this since we all love DL, but don't blow that money on a trip to DL. It sounds like you have dreams and ambitions that the computer may help you achieve. Keep saving. An Apple computer isn't completely necessary to edit photos or video, but it helps. There are a number of great programs on PC that can do most, if not all, of what you're doing. You can easily save some money by buying a quality used one if you're insistent on a Mac. Save the cash, take some classes, and hone your skills. If you've got a PC now, look into either Avid or Adobe Premiere (both PC and Mac). Since the newest version of Final Cut (Mac only) is generally considered a step back as far as the program line goes, a lot of companies and professionals are moving towards alternative options for editing. I'd hate to see you buy a new computer and realize that the software you're using isn't relevant any more.
