A couple months ago, we were next to a family in line and the dad genuinely got mad at his little boy for pulling the rope that has the sign next to it. He was truly upset about his son not following the rules at DL and the people next to him had to explain that it is a joke and it is part of the charm of the queue. Start stock piling Disney gift cards then use them for the passes. I can buy them at Target here and get the 5%off too. Break it down into months and buy that amount each month. Plus if you have extra $$ you can pay for stuff in the parks. They will not expire in the state of CA. - MeridasHair

The merchandise discount at WDW is 10% and not too many food discounts are available at WDW. You should be able to upgrade your park hopper to an AP at DL then upgrade your AP to the Premier at WDW with no problems. To be safe, just call WDW ticketing directly. Your Premier AP will keep the original expiration date of the DL AP. It's a great pass if you visit both DL and WDW! - Andrea84

I think just to be safe you should upgrade to Premier before leaving for WDW. There are a lot of CMs at WDW that don't know about the Premier AP which caused a lot of problems for my friends last Christmas when they tried purchasing them at the ticket booths. After 45 minutes and talking to two different supervisors they were finally able to get their Premuer passes. - KermitFan13

We have done magic mornings while staying at the Grand and DLH. Seriously, I would say that it's always my favorite part of the trip! We have done magic mornings at several points duringr the year: Memorial Day, late June, January, and October, and they have always been a treat--it's never been super-crowded! The best advice is to get there before the gates open, and have an idea of what you want to ride. Many people go straight to Peter Pan, and there's usually a 10-20 minute wait for that, but we sometimes go to other rides and go on that right before the park opens to everyone and the line gets really long. There was one time that we went on 7 different Fantasyland rides in one hour--it was really fun! - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Also, check with the hotel CM's about which is the better entrance to use on magic morning days. If you're magic morning day is in DCA, then you might want to use the main entrance instead of the Grand Ca entrance (all the hotel guests will opt for that one -and I heard the line was longer)...
