I try to be an active commenter! But I really don't get to the parks enough to post live pics or even add wait times 😥my favorite and most influential movie is A Goofy Movie! Not only does it have my favorite songs, it describes my adolescent relationship with my mother to a T. Whenever I watch it I shake my head in remembrance of my tennage rebellion. What is everyone's take on Song of the South? Should it be re-released? What do people remember about it that would justify it never being seen again?

Yes. Splash Mountain is themed after the animated sequence in this movie. It was made in the 1940's and is not being re-released because of the cultural differences concerning race since then. - AKMouse376.5 #364 7-23-11 4:05PMLike Reply

There's a reason Walt built Disneyland in such a way that no where inside the park can you see the "outside" world. It keeps the magic. This does NOT include California Adventure park which was obviously after Walt. - SUUZinOC715.1 #140 6-21-11 1:10AMLike Reply

A little late on the comment, but I just saw this. Don't feel bad at all and don't let this one event stop you from giving from your heart again. And a note to everyone else, if you win a rak, just be patient, everyone means well. I myself had rak'ed off a pin and had every intention of sending it right off to the winner, but life sometimes takes a sudden turn, my mother ended up in ICU in a different state and I had to run to be with her 3 times. It took me almost a month to get the pin off to the winner. Granted I feel awful about not sending it sooner, she was so understanding and still was happy to receive it. I think whoever made AKMouse feel awful should step up and appoligies... we all understand you may be excited, or maybe you had a bad day and we all make mistakes, but whats important now is to make a menz. @London-in-Wonderland, Pirates has a couple of drops that can slam you into your seat. Very easy for high risk pregnancies or early preggers to miscarry. That's why you should ride only at your own risk. Good luck! - Elaine404.3 #322 5-16-11 3:01AMLike Reply
I've been on Pirates even at 9 months pregnant...I've never been "slammed" into my seat, it's a very smooth drop. Once it got busier the characters didn't spend as much time at each table cause they gotta make their rounds but it was very magical - happilyEVERafter61.4 #3543 5-9-11 9:07PMLike Reply
