We're headed to Disneyland in a few hours. If you have any picture requests we would be happy to try to get them for you! We will be staying late tonight so, if there is a meet up please let us know!
I'm depressed because I may not get to come there next year as, my soon to be 13 year old son has straight F's in all of his classes. Bummer because the tickets will go to waste as I'm a pass holder!
That's a bummer, but as a therapist I would want to look at the bigger picture. F's may not always mean the child is failing. I say talk to your child and see what's wrong in a non judgmental tone. He may be depressed or there may be a bully. I hope you guys can work through this! 😊 - minnieMisty223.6 #1337 10-11-12 6:25PMLike(1) Reply

I heard a rumor that Disneyland is selling beer in the park. Is this true?
*sigh* I have already posted on this but why not again. I really hope these rumors are false. I think that it would be an absolute terrible idea for them to sell alcohol in Disneyland. I for one LOVE going to a place where you can't drink alcohol. If its that important to you to drink go right on over to DCA or Downtown Disney. Now I'm saying this as a non-drinking 21 year old, I could only imagine what a parent must feel like. Sorry end of rant. Have a great day everyone! 😊😘 - AshleyLynn22748.1 #137 9-20-12 9:36AMLike(4) Reply
*like* and agree. It's nice to go somewhere that's free of drunks. Plain and simple. - Sweet_Irish_Cream 2707.0 #19 9-20-12 9:47AM
I doubt that Disney couldn't control any drunks if it was ruining the magic or illusion of the park. To assume any person who will drink is just some drunk seems a little short sighted. Or maybe I want the mint julep to actually be a mint julep. ;) - Dipper_Pines123.5 #2730 9-20-12 3:39PMLike Reply

Not stay at the Anaheim plaza! It is gross!

I have stayed there. Its definitely dated, I'm sure it was a happening place in the 70's. Lol but it was clean and close. I'd do it again if I had to, but id probably stay at the Cortona first. It's really inexpensive and right on the ART line and a nice hotel. - Mickey82286.1 #709 6-24-12 5:50PMLike Reply

Why not? In DM or roll call, I can understand and would most likely be able to make time to...I find meeting anyone who is willing to put themselves out there is worth meeting. But I'm sure next time, you'll have the desire to do it. At least I hope you do - MarshaMouse 2936.2 #16 6-22-12 5:35PM
I agree, it can be a little weid, depending on how it's done. Lol. But you are always welcome to come to a meetup. I usually do an Astro Blasters one. Or come by there any night at 10:30. We try to keep it at that time so everyone knows of at least one meetup. I'm sure you had a great trip anyway, who couldn't?:-) - SueBayou 2012.0 #35 6-22-12 5:35PM
Hope you meet some MWers on your next trip...I was there Monday through Thursday of this past week...posting pics and met up with new MWers as well...they had commented on a post of mine, asked where I was in the parks, and met up to chat a bit :-) - uscdisneyteacher3328.6 #13 6-22-12 6:52PMLike Reply

Ok first time AP holder here. Yea! 😃✨👍✨ with a question for all of you lucky ap holders. How do we get
Fast passes? Do we use our passes the same way? Also, what's the first time usage process like? Thanks! 😄
When I got mine, the gate CM kinda made a snarky remark at me for not having a photo... hard to do when it was only 10 minutes old! So yea, get your photo taken ASAP by a CM with a camera right as you enter the park :) - TheBudd357.3 #406 3-21-12 6:56PMLike(2) Reply

Welcome to the AP family:) use pass like a regular paper ticket it works the same way for fastpasses. Never have had a problem with first time use of pass, but i think they changed it since i last renewed last summer. Having annual passes is a blast utilize it as much as you can. Hope this has helped:) have a magical night! - thebigr8.1 #7729 3-21-12 7:04PMLike(1) Reply
Just FYI, it took me four (yes that is 4) times for the photo thing to take. Once it just didn't show up, twice the photos were rejected due to poor light or poor photo (I blinked). The parking attendant told me the 2nd time that my pass had been blocked because I didn't have a pic so I had to go to guest services and have them unblock it, then go inside and retake the picture. I'm not sure this is a much more efficient idea! If it was just me I'd have said it was a fluke, but my son's pass took 3 times to work. - MoonWillow376.7 #371 3-21-12 7:24PMLike Reply
ugh..our photographer scanned my photo on both my and my daughter's passes. 3 attempts to fix it later, and we still don't have her photo on her pass. Of course they wanted to see her student ID and we didn't have it, since there would have been no reason to bring it to DL. Next time we'll bring her ID, but what a hassle. - Bo22 347.5 #432 3-21-12 7:33PM

Behind the scenes of the happiest place on earth!
Okay...I don't ride Space Mtn so the PMover was the closest I will ever get to riding Space. I loved the Tron portion and thought it was a hoot circling all over tomorrow land, especially when we picked up some downhill speed. It was a great break from all the walking and heat. I hope someday they decide to invest and bring it back to life, for now I will have to visit it at WDW... - Linzee533.4 #218 2-9-12 9:10PMLike(2) Reply
Mostly because I was a kid and Tomorrowland was still futuristic. You went upstairs to where the Rocket Jets were. You got on while it was still moving and the door and top closed automatically. It took you around Tomorrowland out over the Autopia's, through the gift shop, Tron and you were elevated above the crowds. - DznyFan4ever371.8 #384 2-9-12 9:25PMLike(1) Reply

I don't remember the first time I drove but I sure do remember the first time I drove alone. My gma was gonna go to Africa so I drove her (in her car) to get some vaccines but she had a bad reaction and was bed ridden the rest of the day. I got tired of sitting around so I told her I would be right back I was gonna go get something to eat with my Bf (who is now my husband). It was true, except I left out the tiny part about me taking her car keys and her car!!
