There have also been times where I've bypassed the bridge that goes in to the structure to discover the bridge was the only way in. I feel ya! I ONLY take it as a last resort. The bad part is that they don't take it away, they just make it a bit more tolerable. It's funny how meds work! I'm on a new med for migraines that is also used for high blood pressure and being manic!!! LOL! Guess I'm not manic, cause I'm still a happy little camper :) except when I don't have my mocha! Glad it was just her teeth! My babies always had a hard time at that age. Once the tooth actually breaks through then the pain subsides. It can take some time for it to cut, so just keep her on ibuprofen until you can feel/see the ridges of the tooth. And I hate to tell you this, but this can happen with every tooth!!! Some babies are fortunate and it doesn't really affect them, then there are babies like ours who experience a lot of pain! Btw, thank you for the welcome! I believe the teething tablets were recalled. My daughter was looking for some because her baby is teething and she was told by the pharmacist that the tablets were recalled. They supposedly have a teething gel by the same company. I used to give my girls a cold carrot when they were teething. I just peeled to top layer and let them gum it.
