Lines were a little too long for our little ones yesterday but we still had tons of fun doing things we have never done before, storytelling in innoventions, met asimo the robot, watched jedis get trained and played in goofys yard. Fun da More...
My son and I did the same thing yesterday! He had no idea there was a petting zoo or the innovations game area at DL and told me at dinner he had so much fun and didn't even need the rides. It's nice to enjoy DL without running around trying to cram all the rides in :) - lacha1305

Anyone know if there is a special event going on this weekend at the parks? Decided to take a last minute trip but all the hotels are booked up and there are no magic mornings.
Had trouble posting in the parks today but still had a blast. If you haven't been to Jingle Jamboree yet you must go! Santa is amazing and Pluto helped my girls decorate their cookies!

2013 - Big Thunder Rehab - Rumor - (5/10/12) According to one Screamscape source, salaried members of management at Disneyland were informed of the rumored plan to take Big Thunder Mountain down for an extensive rehab from January 2013 and reopen it in Summer 2013. It's hard to say. Some kids are just daredevils and love the wild rides. My kids were total opposites- my son would freak out about Pirates when he was younger (but loved it once he was on it), while his younger sister went on anything she could. Headed to the parks this weekend and the hubby says we have to eat some thing new...we always get either plaza inn chicken, corndogs, or baked potatoes. What do you recommend besides the above?
Hungry Bear is pretty good if you like sweet potato fries. The salads at Rancho Del Zocalo are good. If you are going to DCA the Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta place is yummy! - LaneSparrow316
