Ok...long answer...what you're seeing pictures of is a special annual pass holders event that's running thurs, fri & sat nights. You are given special ear hats that light up and coordinate with world of color (other shows ~ attractions as well). The ears are available for sale at the parks. - VeloMouseGirl549.7 #202 6-29-12 11:42PMLike Reply

QUESTION: what HOTEL do you or your family stay at when visiting the park and WHY?
I'm staying at the Ramada this NYE , and I chose this hotel because it is directly across the street from entrance. ;D
Once a year for our long trip, we stay at the resort. There's nothing better than being that close. For our short trips throughout the year, we find the good neighbor hotel with the best deal. How many of you have been to DisneyWorld? Any tips on how to manage your day between all the parks?
Hubby and I made the mistake in going to the parks in 4 days (1 day for each park). Partly because I couldn't get more days off from work. My biggest suggestion would be to allow plenty of time, I think you need at minimum a 5 days (some people do 5 days at Disneyland!). And if you stay at Disney property, make sure to get the dining plan. - LBChica1500.0 #51 1-6-11 10:21AMLike Reply
I have been six times. The best way to manage the parks is to check the extra magic hours. Some are before opening some are after closing. Animal kingdom always closes early. If possible stay on property they have buses that take you to all parks. - sharkbait423.3 #299 1-6-11 10:27AMLike Reply

Just train your kiddies on where to go. They hold lost children at the chrildrens center that and always include a phone number with your kid or teach them your number because the lost childrens center will call and tell you they have your kid. At the very least, know who the cm's are, but also designate a meetup location. We usually used the main st flagpole or petrified tree by roa. If you put the phone # on them, try putting it on something they're not likely to take off, like inside their shirt, because if it's on the jacket, it may get left behind in the stroller. - bluefairy627.0 #174 12-28-10 1:52PMLike Reply

McMinnie... just bumped a post about this; the pirates thing was a special private event put on by POTC movie & DLR for media, press, and fans to promote the new movie/trailer released yesterday - LisaKL748.4 #135 12-14-10 5:27PMLike Reply
Hey MW. I go to Disneyland on Monday! My boyfriend is is disappointed it's going to rain that day, and has second thoughts on still going. I have been before when it rains, I don't mind it! Can you guys think of some up sides to going to More...

@Disney143, thanks for the info. I don't mind the rain but hoping rides we like to go on aren't closed. My kids would have a fit if screamin and TOT are closed. Can't forget BTMRR lol - tigntink179.3 #1872 12-14-10 9:20PMLike Reply
It rained for most of our trip in October, and both the Teacups and Alice were closed, but not much else.. Of course, didn't see many characters out in the rain either, though we had so much fun in the rainy park that we didn't mind! - magikkoi153.0 #2246 12-14-10 9:29PMLike Reply
