Last time I read about it, it was supposed to launch sometime this year. Disney had debuted Disney Junior on Disney Channel (replacing Playhouse Disney) about a year ago now. They are trying to catch up like other networks have already done (ie: Nick) that target children's programming and gives parents the option for Disney children's programming all day. .
