I noticed this is in DL Talk when it'd be better in the Hub and best in MT or FB. It might behoove you to sit back and observe the lounge a bit to really get the swing of things. But I admit it is hard nowadays to know what should and shouldn't be posted on MW when people are posting their FB type statuses. Just remember Disney related goes in MW...random thoughts (though some have been posted in the hub) should be posted with discretion. My heart truly goes out to people with job and health struggles. I typically will post well wishes if someone is sick and when I say I'll pray I actually do for them. But, this isnt facebook. Definitely check into section 8 housing as soon as you can. Most towns (not sure where you live) in CA, at least, have a community action organization. They tend to move much faster than the government when it comes to immediate needs such as clothing, food, and shelter. They also typically have a contact that can put you in touch with a welfare agent. Disability can take a very long time, and most claims are denied (mine was). Fight for it!!! It's worth it. Also, check with your local edd to see if they have any programs for putting people with a disability to work. There was a program near me where the govt. Would pay the first 6 months salary as well as tax incentives. I do feel your pain, and will be praying hard for you.
