to all of you, and a side note: from the dispatcher, to the paramedics, and the doctors and nurses at the UC Irvine hospital, we couldn't have been treated with better care. Compassion, competence and even humor across the board, for the entire nine hours we were in the ER. I've spent a lot of time in hospitals with loved ones and this was so far ahead of the pack it's amazing. The ambulance driver told me if his wife or kids were sick that was where he would take them, and I thought he was just reassuring me but I think he was telling the truth! To answer the queshion on the ears: Every apple is dipped 3/4 a way with carmel, each marshmallow is them snipped so that it's sticky on the bottom, they then stick the sticky side on the apple (and it stays) and then proceed to dip it in chocolate, so basically it's just the stickiness of the marshmallow that makes it stick to the apple! so sad I know that! There is a great restaurant near main Laguna Beach called the Village Cafe. It is outdoors and literally overlooking the ocean, great view. Claes in Hotel Laguna is good and has ocean setting. Then it's fun to walk around Laguna Beach afterwards. Then my hometown of San Clemente has Fishermans Wharf that is on the pier, but it is a farther drive from DL.
