Hello, I'm going to buy the SoCal Resident tickets for me & my family. Does only the purchaser need an ID or does everyone else need one too? Do they ask for ID's at the gate? Someone please clarify this for me. My dad doesn't have an ID   More...
No IDs at the gate, they take a picture of you. But I don't know about the rest. I bought mine online so I obviously didn't need my ID to buy. But I don't know about buying in person or for a family. Sorry 😕 - sheridanrabbit   739.8 #295 4-6-16 5:46PM Like  Reply
I've never had to show an ID...or get my photo taken. Weird - FoolishMortal138   569.4 #396 4-6-16 7:19PM Like  Reply
You're right, I don't get my photo taken anymore since I have my AP. - sheridanrabbit  739.8 #295 4-6-16 7:32PM
2 years ago I purchased those at the ticket booths and only my husband showed his ID. They did write our names on the tickets though. You also get your picture taken. I think that's done to prevent ticket transfers. IMO it's better to purchase tickets online or from an authorized retailers. Otherwise, you will waste time making line at the booth. - MARVELus   761.6 #281 4-6-16 9:29PM Like  Reply
This is not for the AP, this is for the special discounted SoCal Resident tickets aka flex pass.  - vivaraliz   9.7 #0 4-6-16 9:30PM Like  Reply
I'm not sure when and how they check the id. It's been so long since I've bought them. But years ago they only checked the purchasers I'd. As for pictures they attach a picture to any ticket that is more than a one day. I'm guessing that's to stop people from buying multiple days and selling the last couple of days. Good luck. I hope someone knows the specifics.  - Bassplayerswife  885.7 #231 4-7-16 9:39AM

Hi everybody, you can still turn a park ticket into an annual pass at the end of the day right? Does anybody know when the ticket booths close?
"While the rest of the park closes, the ticket booths are open 1 hour after closing for your shopping convenience". Thank you!   - BaseballMickey   8165.6 #13 12-1-15 1:01PM Like(2)  Reply
They are open 1 hour after park closing...usually even a bit later. BUT I would seriously consider doing it at the beginning or early on in the day. If you are buying a pass that is a blackout date, they will give you a blackout date ticket for that day only. That way you can park-hop AND you will get the food and merchandise discounts while in the park. - DLKenCA   3072.4 #51 12-1-15 1:01PM Like(1)  Reply
They do that? I'm going this Saturday & that day is blocked out on the pass so I wasn't sure. But I'll ask when I'm there. Thank you! (: - vivaraliz  9.7 #0 12-1-15 4:32PM
Ask at the front. They will issue you a blackout date ticket. Only time they will do it. - DLKenCA  3072.4 #51 12-1-15 9:54PM
You can do it at city hall, also. (I believe) - phillip...   1400.8 #140 12-1-15 1:03PM Like  Reply

Hello everyone, my annual pass was revoked in August & i finally got a call today saying my pass has been reinstated. All i have to do is go to a ticketbooth & give my information. My sister and I want to know what time the ticket booths   More...
ooooookkkkk, lets back this one up....What on earth did you do to get your pass revoked? I'm dying to know - Dave   13858.4 #6 10-30-14 2:54PM Like(3)  Reply
I was the biggest mistake ever. I took a sip (my first EVER) of my sister's drink & someone saw. We were very calm with the officer as we were escorted out. They understood. We had to appeal the revocation and we got a warning. I'm just so happy we got them back.  - vivaraliz  9.7 #0 10-30-14 3:04PM
I'm glad you asked...I wanna know too! Lol - luxkitty  4617.8 #33 10-30-14 3:05PM
