Is it just me or is the picture quality on this ride not as sharp as it once was? Or am I just used to better screens now since this ride is over ten years old? - Belleslibrary228.0 #1271 2-28-13 8:55PMLike Reply
I think it's the same, but our eyes have slowly adjusted to HD displays. Film also starts to degrade after a period of time. The attraction has been running continuously for 10 years now. - JRDrummer_CM 789.4 #117 2-28-13 8:58PM
I don't remember it being as sharp as it was when it first opened, and not to mention black spots on some of the screens. They need to give it a HFR 3D upgrade like Star Tours. - joshhh 103.2 #2997 2-28-13 9:01PM
Churro bites and Ramone's "Pear of Dice" soda. The CM told me it is Sprite and a pear-flavored syrup. It is tangy and quite refreshing. I recommend it! Churro bites are 4.99 and the soda is 3.79 before AP discount.
I thought that was an adult drink at first and was going to ask how you got it. Good to know its soda though. Looks really good too. - KermitFan13407.3 #321 2-24-13 8:40PMLike Reply

That drink looks refreshing! Here's another tasty non-alcoholic drink to try-- about half and half 7-Up and orange juice over ice. Then splash in some Torani's raspberry syrup. Very tasty. - meridafan1034.8 #83 2-24-13 9:43PMLike Reply

After watching the CA Adventure TV special, I thought of a question I'd like to ask you MouseWaiters out there... As incredible as Disney Imagineering is, they have had their share of flops over the years. What is your top attraction/rest More...
I think changing Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse to Tarzan was a bad idea. I also prefer the rockets on top of the Peoplemover platform. The empty Peoplemover track is a constant reminder of what should be there. - ScooterMike1959.8 #35 2-16-13 8:24AMLike(7) Reply
This is so true, Though the rockets provide a nice touch of tomorrow at the entrance of tomorrow land where it is now, they were more exciting when they were higher up. If only the imagineers would do something with that "setup" that's up there now. A light show or something. - imtheghostinthehatbox 13.6 #5895 2-16-13 9:01AM
Yeah, I've been going to Disneyland for 52 years now, and that empty track to me is the greatest missed opportunity I can recall. Seeing vast tonnage of empty concrete and steel year after year is, kind of a "fail" in my opinion. The creativity of the imagineers over the almost 58 years of Disneyland's existence is second to none, and I believe the reason it is still empty falls on the hands of the people "upstairs". It's time for them to come "downstairs" and just commit to fixing it by putting the people mover back and expanding it to make it a true People Mover! - CVDisneyland 256.9 #934 2-16-13 9:33AM
IMO Finding Nemo.... I just dont get it. Such a miserable process to climb down into that tiny claustrophobic submarine, just to watch a tv screen... Not for me. - lohofosho272.6 #807 2-16-13 9:39AMLike Reply
I would love to see the return o the peoplemover! It is too bad they took it out. It would have been neat to have my kids be able to grow up with it. It was such a classic. Also, the front of Alice lost its charm when they had to cover up so much. Hopefully they can come up with some sort of resolution soon! It is Disney, so I am sure they will invent a way to make it work. - 7mouskedoodles161.1 #2138 2-16-13 9:57AMLike Reply
