I love everything Disney. We don't get to the parks as often as I would like to, but each time that I'm lucky enough to visit, I have the most amazing time. Disneyland is truly the most magical place on earth.
We made it to DL finally. Sad that I missed a lot of the reunion shenanigans so far. We're in line at the Matterhorn. Hope to meet some fellow MWers this trip.

What exactly do you do in the Lilly belle? Just ride in it? I know it was named after Mrs. Disney, but other than that why is it so cool? How much is it to ride? - Belleslibrary227.7 #1274 4-30-13 2:22PMLike Reply
It was made for Walt's wife. He designed it especially for her. Fun to be in a piece of Disney history. And riding the train is fun to ride anyway. - lohofosho 269.2 #829 4-30-13 4:48PM
Also, it's free. You just have to make reservations as a lot of people want to ride it and its not out everyday. You can make reservations by going to the Main Street station and asking. You'll want to go early before all the spots fill up! - lohofosho 269.2 #829 4-30-13 4:49PM
When someone sees something like this they should really notify a CM. We can never be too cautious and not to be a buzz kill but after what happened in Boston we should be reminded what unattended objects have the potential of being. I am sure this isn't the case but always better to be safe than sorry. - aidensmama336.3 #444 4-29-13 3:41PMLike(5) Reply
I'm going to buy one soon, I didn't even know what it was until MW. I'm going to need one if I'm going to pull an all-nighter - MrsGrumpy2002 190.9 #1736 4-29-13 4:45PM
Best to alert a current CM, don't want the "bad outside world" to pose a threat to a safe escape such as Disneyland... - martini8668-cm35.7 #4137 4-29-13 4:44PMLike Reply
That's probably the single rider wait time. I just looked and the regular line says 80 minutes and single rider 5. - aidensmama336.3 #444 4-29-13 1:04PMLike Reply
I just checked again and someone has updated to 80. I couldn't believe 10 standby and 5 for single. Too good to be true - BelieveInMagic 85.4 #3196 4-29-13 1:08PM
It could've been 10 minutes if the ride was shut down and then reopened. In that short window right after reopening it could very well be less than a 20 minute wait. Or it could have been a troll messing with wait times. :) - aidensmama 336.3 #444 4-29-13 1:13PM
It just opened back up after being closed for awhile - Missymoo392.2 #341 4-29-13 1:11PMLike Reply
I believe that's a winch with a kayak attached at GRR. It's a way to pull the boats up to a storage loft for the off season. - ThatKimberly334.5 #449 4-28-13 4:03PMLike Reply
For BibbidiBobbidiBoo. I came across this painting last night, and immediately thought of your post yesterday. I was making reservations at the Blue Bayou and turned around to see this. The CM said they receive the watercolors as pictur More...
Wow, thank you!!! This is very similiar. It is wonderful to know that I may be able to get another one. I can't tell you enough how greatful I am for this information!!! - BibbidiBobbidiBoo33.0 #4240 4-28-13 8:42AMLike Reply

What's your favorite...Astro Blasters or Midway Mania?
I'll be the loner here. Astro Blasters all the way! - Slotherini882.4 #99 11-16-12 4:26PMLike(5) Reply
At least I can out score MrBIM on Astro Blasters, and that was with a 16-month old riding shotgun who thought the SPIN was fun pull! - BelieveInMagic 85.4 #3196 11-16-12 5:12PM
I get too cray cray on toystory Mania but I like that one more. Astro blaster is fun though - Hendizl1300.4 #62 11-16-12 3:21PMLike Reply
Heart land...anyone else think of the BeeGees/Frampton Sgt. Peppers movie? Hehe with Alice cooper, Steve Martin, Aerosmith, and George burns?(((: - AvidDisneyThrifter220836.2 #108 11-16-12 3:26PMLike(2) Reply

It was such a big day for one of our lil guys yesterday. 1st visit...pic with Daisy...got her autograph...and lost a front tooth too!
Now that sounds like one eventful day! And FYI, the tooth fairy made a deal with Tinkerbell that your supposed to get something extra for losing a tooth at Disney!!! Hope she delivered!!! 😂 - DisneyDavidEMT446.9 #275 11-15-12 7:45AMLike(1) Reply
wow, I feel lucky then, we got to spend about 10 minutes with her in March, and got pictures! - GarnerPhotography321.4 #513 11-14-12 4:31PMLike Reply
We got lucky in sept too! The last day we were there we walked into the park and Daisy Duck came by and took our babygirls hand and started walking!:) it was adorable! She had been asking to see her the entire time we were there! - Disneymomab15.1 #5651 11-14-12 4:36PMLike Reply
Who can tell me how many acres the Disney parks sit on. We're in line for Nemo having this discussion
One site says: According to information released by Disney in May 2009, the total area of the Resort (2 parks, 3 hotels, shopping district, and parking lots) is 510 acres.

I read that the actual Disneyland park with California adventure is about 150 acres and that WDW is just under 30,000. CRazy - Belleslibrary227.7 #1274 11-14-12 3:14PMLike Reply
WDW is huge, just slightly smaller than the City of San Fran., no wonder you need a bus to get everywhere! - ShariRenee 1505.2 #50 11-14-12 3:19PM
Oh my... That boggles my mind - BelieveInMagic 85.4 #3196 11-14-12 9:23PM
So excited...my countdown is down to just 1 day now. We're doing a family meet-up in the parks with our (grown) minis and grand-minis. It's the first visit for both grand-minis. I can't wait to see DL through their eyes!
Awesome, don't forget to stop by City Hall for 1st Visit Buttons and have a great time! - ShariRenee1505.2 #50 11-13-12 10:07AMLike Reply

Has anyone posted on "Glow with the Snow" yet? I didn't find anything by searching. I read about it in Disney blog just now. Glow ears will work with Believe.. In Holiday Magic show.

Hello MWers. I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. We will be visiting the parks in 15 days, and are thrilled to be attending our first Halloween party on the 23rd. Can't wait!! We haven't been since June of last year.
Welcome to the happiest lounge on earth! Bring your sense of humor and please read the FAQs. Have fun on your trip! Be sure to post live pics from the Parks when you go 😃 - PirateQueenBriezy291.4 #660 10-7-12 4:47PMLike Reply
