I have been eyeing these bracelets for some time now. I still haven't bought one yet and I think I'm afraid to start a new addiction but I sure do love them😍 - MinnieMyLove 148.3 #2610 1-27-15 10:24AMLikeReply
I loved seeing the pics from Disneyland Paris, that being said, I think that other pics from vacation are better suited to IG or FB.
Aren't all pictures posted to MouseWait supposed to be Disney related, no matter where they are posted? Disney park pics go to DL talk and all other Disney go to The Hub? - Linzee 910.6 #175 1-22-15 1:53PMLike(4)Reply
Thank you we have enjoyed your pictures. There has been lots of people that post none disney pictures here and it is admin choice on what goes where. This is why there is a moderator to keep us from policing ourselves and having the cliques attack each other. So keep posting and admin can straighten it out. - grumpyinphx 230.6 #1496 1-22-15 2:34PMLike(3)Reply
I don't think the issue is in regards to your DL Paris pics, it's the other pics from Paris that are non-Disney. People go all over the world all the time and if everyone started posting their vacation pics on here, this site now becomes VacationWait. I don't want to come onto a Disney site to see a bunch of non-Disney pics. I understand there are people that want to see pics of Paris, if that is the case then start an IG, FB or email them the pics. Just my opinion. We all need to remember what this app is intended for...DISNEY!! 🐭❤️ - SquirtFromTheEAC 7.3 #11889 1-23-15 11:09AMLikeReply
As soon as I linked my premier pass, they sent me a magic band, so they should send you one. The discount is terrible, but they do offer "tables in wonderland" for passholders- you pay $100.00 and get 20% off at most restaurants and More...
I just purchased a Premier pass and just received my magic bands. You are entitled to a free one, even if you are not staying on property. You need to first create an account at WDW, under "My Disney Experience". Then under "My Account", there is "Magic Bands and Cards", you first need to register your Premier AP # to link to your account. Once you like your Premier AP# to the account, a "Card" will appear there with your #. After that, it takes a few days to a week, and under that same area, a new option will open up to link "Magic Band" and that is when you can customize and order your Magic Band. Then they mail it to you, and you should have within about 10 days after ordering. Good luck, if you have any other questions, feel free to send a DM and I would be glad to help. - KennyV 253.5 #1213 1-19-15 3:26PMLike(1)Reply
I believe they have them for sale now. Not sure if you can buy them ahead of time. I would call the AP hotline. I believe as an AP you are entitled to one. It just won't be customized with your name on it. - DLKenCA 1859.3 #72 1-19-15 3:21PMLikeReply
My wife and I went in September, we linked our passes to our bands disney did it for us because we stayed at one of the resorts. But @ DLKenCA is right u can buy the bands at the parks. Oh just a heads up, the discounts at WDW are not as good as at DL. They are lower and there are not as many places that give discounts (food wise). Also, they hardly ask if u have an AP so make sure u let them know u have one. Have fun! - MrYoda 44.7 #4600 1-19-15 3:29PMLikeReply

AP holder who flies 15 hours from Australia once or twice a year!! Plan it out so get 2 trips with AP each time, usually for 1-2 weeks at the parks per visit. I'm sorry you had to experience this. After watching the area last night, there are some kinks to be worked out, like everything when changes happen. It's like when Disneyland first opened, it was a disaster. But 60 years later look where we are. - BaseballMickey_CM 6514.7 #12 12-14-14 10:19AMLike(3)Reply
We were there too, but not for Fantasmic. We were in route to Splash Mountain and noticed the redirecting of traffic back by the bathrooms. We felt the flow was much improved and there were not the usual mass of people standing in the walkways for Fantasmic. We noticed a FP entrance area and that's where everyone was gathered leaving the walkways fairly accessible and no bottle necking. I can't comment on the FP accessibility, but it sure made walking through that area less congested. Thank you for your review and insight. We will try out the FP's on a less crowded day . - goofymom2boys 1440.9 #95 12-14-14 12:10PMLike(1)Reply
Here's my thoughts about this- with a new change coming to Hollywood Land, this will attract more guests of all ages to the area. Over the last few years, Stage 17 has never been used to what it's really built for: large events. Okay, once in a while, there will be big events like Dancing with Disney, the Gospel Celebration, AP and CM events, but its mostly empty throughout the year. Its a really big building that you can pretty much start from scratch in there. Also, attendance in the Muppets theater has (sadly) decreased, thus having two big empty buildings in a land. Across the way, the Toy Story Zoetrope (sp?) also had decreasing numbers of the years. How do I know that? For a whole day last year, I had to walk around Hollywood Land and count all of the guests in certain landmarks to help out our industrial engineering department and most of the time, nobody was over in that corner looking at the display. With the Animation Academy exiting to that corner, it makes a perfect place to move Anna and Elsa over there, giving a more private area than the current place in Fantasyland. If you think they're over doing it, I don't think so. First, this movie is the top earning animated movie of all time. With all of the competition in animation, not any company can say that, expect Disney. It was Walt that actually wanted to do this story in the 1940s/50s, but instead did Cinderella. Secondly, it still has a big following. Merch from not just the parks, but around the world is still selling well. The soundtrack is still being listened to on iTunes, Spotify and other sites as well. To see the other perspective of this, what if Frozen was a flop in the theaters and Disney was stuck being behind other companies at the box office? We would probably be back to the early 2000s when the animation studios was in rut, trying to crank out any film they could to get to be a hit. In conclusion, its a great idea and I really look forward to seeing it all. Just my thoughts... - BaseballMickey_CM 6514.7 #12 12-5-14 12:01PMLike(28)Reply
So I guess there was no one in the Disney board room willing to say, "Okay guys, let's not over do it." - NotNKansasAnymor 283.8 #925 12-5-14 11:36AMLike(12)Reply
Welcome to the blessing/curse of having Disneyland be our home! In DisneyWorld - they can add attractions easier...here, because of limited space, we have to lose stuff from time to time. Many prayers and good thoughts being sent your way! 💖 ✨😘 There are lots of great Disney quotes, but as an avid reader and someone who values storytelling, my favorite is "there is more treasure in books than in all the Pirates' loot on Treasure Island!" A runner up is "life is composed of light and shadows and we would be untruthful, insincere and saccharine if we tried to pretend there were no shadows." - Spoonful_O_Sugar 563.1 #316 12-5-14 4:15PMLike(2)Reply

Yup, my boots saved me today! I didn't find any for my son in time, so I brought extra shoes and socks. Thank goodness, because by noon his feet were soaked and I had to wring out his socks.
I'm from Seattle too, so it was a little much yesterday to see people in rain boots with umbrellas. Today, there is actual rain with big puddles. The sidewalks in the park don't seem to funnel the rain, so it's a bit messy. - Yeti_Ing 56.7 #4217 12-2-14 3:50PMLike(2)Reply
As a Seattlite, I giggle when I see pictures of all the umbrellas. As a former Southern Californian I totally understand that they're necessary. One of my greatest memories of Disneyland was on a rainy day, though. - 1HitchhikingGhost 216.9 #1669 12-2-14 1:21PMLikeReply

The easiest way to figure it out is to count how many days you go and then factor in the discount on how much you spend on merchandise and dining. For us, the discount basically makes up the difference in cost. We live in Texas but go about 4 times a year, so having the pass makes financial sense. I upgraded mine to premium for the bigger discount, but left my son's as Deluxe since he is too young to buy things and we don't have any reason to go on blackout days. The 20% on merchandise has more than paid for the difference, and if you need parking it is included, which is huge. Hope that helps! - Thumper13 427.1 #449 11-30-14 10:32AMLike(2)Reply
TheShow's suggestion is spot on. I might add that if you find yourself going more than 6 times a year I suggest getting the Premium pass for your daughter. (Make sure it's in your daughters name since she will most likely be the one who will always be going). It is a good investment. You get free parking and the better discounts on everything. As many of us know, we always spend more than we set out to do so the highest discount helps out. - Maddernhorn 199.1 #1899 11-30-14 10:41AMLike(1)Reply
If you plan on going more than two weekends with three entries each (ex: Fri night-Sun), then it's more cost-effective to do an AP. Plus, the merchandise/food discounts and parking add up, too. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 563.1 #316 12-1-14 10:56AMLikeReply
If you go 2 times a year it's borderline, 3 times a year and it would cost less than tickets. But that is assuming you buy multiple day park hoppers. But you get a discount at the Disney hotels and discounts others have mentioned. Be careful of the ap block out dates which you can check on the DL website. - happiestplace 139.7 #2767 12-1-14 11:07AMLikeReply
Prayers, that is so sad. You will be in my thoughts
Father God, we thank You for our friend Deanna and her family and all she does to share Your joy on MouseWait. We thank You for keeping the family including pet family safe. May Your blessings be upon them as they were when You protected the family, teach the children the lessons you want them to learn and bless Deanna, her husband and the whole family with Your peace that surpasses understanding and help them grow in You through this. We know all things work together to those who love You, so thank You for their many blessings, including knowing You. Protect them and guide them forever. Thank You Lord, in Jesus's name we pray, Amen. - secretagentangel 1325.2 #104 11-30-14 9:55PMLike(3)Reply

Are these Disney snow globes? I've never shopped at JC Penny. That sucks as far as breaking a yearly tradition. I but like someone else said, if it's really important $15 isn't too horrible, and hopefully they address the issue next year and you don't have to resort to that. As far as APs you guys came through last year, I'm sure you'll figure something out.
