I can understand how upsetting that would be--you clearly weren't able to eat breakfast, which you paid for. I have had a few sub-par dining experiences, and asked to speak to a lead about them-- in all cases, Disney was understanding and accommodating. I realize that it's probably too late to do this now, but perhaps you could speak to someone in guest services at City Hall. They might be able to refund or give you a voucher. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 585.3 #317 5-26-15 5:02PMLike(1)Reply
When we went there for breakfast, it was a 9am reservation and we felt so rushed! We weren't even done eating and they were clearing out plates! Now we only go to goofys kitchen and the one at paradise pier! And I do love Ariel's grotto! - DCMAGurl 151.8 #2589 5-26-15 5:14PMLikeReply
We book the first seating on an early entrance day into the park. Never feels rushed, food is fast and the characters are fresh and full of fun. In fact, we are usually bombarded and I have to shoo away Tigger so my mini can eat! ;) Definitely try an earlier breakfast next time. - PixiePrincessPolly 56.4 #4294 5-26-15 10:30PMLikeReply
I went!! It was my 3rd one in a row. I missed the end by 2 hours but I was on property for 30 hours straight still!! I love these events. Yes it was extremely packed and sometimes frustrating, but totally worth it! I got to experience Paint the Night and the new fireworks, both of which had me in tears. I got to see the upgrades on Matterhorn and only had to wait 25 minutes since I went right at 6am! I met up with some awesome Mwers at different times of the day, some I had already met and some I was meeting for the first time! I wish I would have been able to travel over to the DCA side but I was too afraid of getting stuck in the esplanade so I never left the Disneyland side. I will continue to go to 24 hour events as long as they have them and I can make it! - thatgirljenn 1437.0 #103 5-24-15 11:25AMLike(2)Reply
I got there at about 4:15a, had an easy time parking at M&F and got in quickly through DTD. I was able to get on buzz, Matterhorn, soarin, and ca screamin in the morning. Ate breakfast at flo's. Then just sorta wandered around. I wanted some of the popcorn buckets and sippers but didn't want to wait. The merch lines were crazy too. I ended up leaving by 1p cuz I wanted to try and beat holiday traffic back home to SD (didn't happen hahaha!!). I'm glad I went though to check it out and glad I went early and didn't deal with the chaos that a lot of people endured trying to get in later in the day and night. Props to all the CMs who handled everything and put on a great event. It can't be easy and I applaud you all. 👏🏻 - DisneyLuvinMama 351.2 #616 5-24-15 11:59AMLikeReply

Went around 1pm Friday straight to Disneyland. I know it reached capacity, but it seemed like so many people were saving spots for the parade and fireworks so the rest of the park wasn't as busy as you'd think. At one point I even got my own boat at Small World! After the fireworks and second Fantasmic, I was able to basically walk on to a lot of rides. For half the time it was a solo trip, but it was great cuz I could do what I wanted. It honestly was one of my all time favorite trips. And yes,I made it to 6am! - JediKitty 814.4 #205 5-25-15 12:09AMLikeReply
Thanks for the info about the tour, will have to plan one for hubby and I. - tinksmom 271.6 #1068 5-20-15 9:44PMLikeReply
I did this tour a couple years ago, we got to go in walts apartment. Have they replaced that part with the dream suite? Or do they rotate back and forth? - BiggieButler 84.5 #3697 5-20-15 9:45PMLikeReply
This is fun!!! I will keep an eye out for it next visit! - Boundin 606.8 #302 5-16-15 8:14PMLikeReply
Just an FYI, EQ is my favorite villain and the shirt is actually a unisex cut. I am a fit 5-10 and it fits like a normal T. So guys, if you are looking for a villain shirt, this is one of the few that works. - campy 48.6 #4551 5-18-15 7:52AMLikeReply
Wow! Thanks for sharing love the picture! 31 years ago today my now husband asked me to be his girlfriend 😜 - PrincessDuckie 817.2 #204 5-15-15 8:57AMLike(5)Reply
Great photo. Look at the size differences in some of the trees. Some are definitely more mature down at the Hub. And that old truck! 😱😍love it. Scaffolding around the castle, too. Thanks for sharing - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint 5264.5 #16 5-15-15 7:31AMLike(2)Reply
I had a quick business trip to Orlando last month and squeezed in a few days at the parks. I did like the WDW fast pass arrangements, and even though we didn't get the band I can see how that would be a big advantage.
WDW would run out of FP by noon for most attractions so FP+ works great for us. We stay on pacific time so no need to rush to the parks. Plus we go in the summer so it's much more pleasant after the sun sets. - richiii3 600.3 #309 5-4-15 8:54AMLikeReply
I agree! The time difference kicked our butt in the morning. It was nice to know that I didn't have to be there at rope drop to get the FP for the rides we wanted. - fab5 149.9 #2619 5-5-15 5:42AMLikeReply
I have stayed at all three hotels over t he years and have found that the park view concierge level at Paradise Pier is the most magical. We keep open the curtains and see the lights of DCA all night. However, the concierge level is much More...
Personally, I think that if it's the first time, or a one time event, it should be DLH :) It's the classic hotel! I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with Paradise Pier (can't really comment on it because I haven't stayed there), but DLH is really the full, traditional Disneyland resort experience. Paradise Pier is really just a building with hotel rooms and a pool on the deck--im sure it's really fun, but the grounds of DLH, just add so much, I feel. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 585.3 #317 4-21-15 11:19AMLike(8)Reply
I've never stayed at DL hotel, just paradise pier. And honestly, you get the same on property perks (magic morning and the grand entrance to DCA) as the DL hotel, for lower rates. It is a really cute hotel and we had a wonderful experience. But if you can stay at the DL hotel, why not? You should do it At least once. The disneyland hotel is full of disneyland decor, which is awesome, with paradise pier feels like paradise pier at dca. (You can also access disneylands pool if you stay at paradise pier) - PracticallyPerfectKaila 20.9 #6568 4-21-15 10:33AMLike(2)Reply
There's one that is by Small World Mall, one is the little building at Casey Jr's entrance, one is the mushroom at Alice, and I believe the Lighthouse at Storybook Canals. - CM_Shadowgamer 2457.4 #49 4-8-15 12:48PMLike(2)Reply
Same thing happened years ago with a hat my husband lost on a ride. It really is a remarkable service.
I want to thank them too. I was planning on just going up to the window next time I'm there to personally thank them but a call would be nice too - philliprocks 1112.8 #146 3-30-15 10:46PMLikeReply

You also can go to www.disneyland.com. There is a "contact us" link towards the bottom. You can fill out feedback. I get better results that way because you can write what you want and not have someone at City Hall try to summarize what you say. It will get to the right place. - DLKenCA 2167.2 #61 3-30-15 11:06PMLikeReply
I disagree, it's nice to walk on rides for sure but all rides are counted on a daily basis and those that lack a number over time can be decided to be removed or hopefully changed like they did star tours and Luigi to save it. Enjoy your early morning riding through space 😍 - pikarich 3933.8 #27 3-28-15 10:08AMLike(5)Reply

I said the same thing because I went crazy collecting alex & ani bracelets. I walked in there the other day and actually had will power (so proud of myself because I normally don't). BUT...my birthday is next month and my spousewaiter already knows which bracelet & charms etc that I want so we'll see... - luxkitty 2506.1 #48 2-14-15 11:27AMLike(1)Reply
Am also going to WDW in March so these comments are doing double duty! Thanx
This is tough. Because there is SO much and everyone is different. But we just went for the first time in Sept. The things I would want to go back and do would be Be our Guest for lunch again (just wait out front before 11am and get a spot), really take your time in the countries at EPCOT....I could list a lot. But what it comes down to is time management. I'm not someone to really plan out our days, but we learned fast that if you don't have a plan, A LOT of time gets wasted. It's HUGE, and you can't be going back and forth. We learned to walk in, get a map, circle what we wanted to do (I did A LOT of research on rides and things before, so we pretty much knew what we were interested in), start at one end and work our way around. It's was perfect! We got more done and it was stress free! Like you, I was a little overwhelmed with planning. But this method made it all so easy. Good luck!! 😃 If you have any questions, just let me know. - Sweet_Irish_Cream 4394.3 #23 2-6-15 9:38PMLike(3)Reply
you can get traditional english afternoon tea at the garden view tea room, at the grand floridian. am dying to try it! - MsTikiMermadam 305.6 #811 2-7-15 1:08PMLikeReply
Something that no one has mentioned. You can't get a bus that goes from Resort to Resort. Also you can't take a bus from the parks to Downtown Disney. So if you want to eat at another resorts restaurant, you will have to take a bus to the nearest park and then get a shuttle to the resort from there. Also it takes a lot of time to move around from park to park. So make sure you factor that into your day. Have a great time and enjoy. - PrincessAuroraMomma 534.6 #354 2-7-15 6:17PMLikeReply
