It is the 3rd Gaye but hidden , I remember they said they wouldn't build a third Gaye till dca was successful which it is when dca 2.0 cars land and bvs where dine and completed. Whatever Disney your hiding your 3rf park inside dca.but to quote Walt Disneyland will never be completed , I'm andll for the growth of the park, I'm only scared that in the future they may split the ap passes and charge each park separate. Who knows what the future will bring - pikarich 4110.2 #28 7-6-15 10:10PMLikeReply
I read somewhere that some ideas being thought of is Star Wars Land or a Marvel Land. Disney spent so much money on those 2 they have to tap into getting their money's worth. I am excited to see what's in the future of the 2 parks! - DisneyDrea 62.1 #4181 7-6-15 10:14PMLikeReply
Hi! I hope for anything not Frozen😂😂😂. But seriously, I always enjoy when Disney adds new things☺️ hopefully it will be something really cool like "The Nightmare Before Christmas Land"🙀🙀🙀🎃! - 2BeignetOrNot2Beignet 1165.2 #136 7-6-15 11:44PMLikeReply

Mine, too! My LO thought it was going to be scary and when we got off, he said, "that was real nice, Mama." Love seeing these rides through the eyes of babes. - MommyandBash 110.0 #3330 6-30-15 6:33PMLikeReply
Dream suite... And I am grateful for all I do get to do at the happiest place!!
Just to be there, with my family and friends, spending the day and night laughing, having a great time, and making lots of memories. I'm a no frills sort of gal, so it's the simple pleasures that make my heart sing. - DarthTinkerbell 415.4 #495 6-26-15 10:49AMLike(11)Reply
I rode the skyway and definitely miss it but I feel like there are more pressing things to refurb and bring back ::ahem ALL of tomorrowland lol:: I love the Tiki room!!!! but I do wish it was still a restaurant and I remember before Aladdins oasis too! As for the treehouse I have mixed feelings- Love Tarzan and I like the refresh/redo but I miss classic Disney. And there is not enough homage paid to Walts live action films in my opinion in either park. Swiss family Robinson was the last vestige to his his 100% live action movie legacy. Thank you Duchess!!! Ps that first pic of Walt is 😍 - missariel33 2101.2 #65 6-23-15 12:13PMLike(5)Reply
Always enjoyed the Sky Ride. I remember one night we took it over the Electric Parade; wish I had pictures. And always enjoy the Tiki Room; didn't know about the restaurant either. Favorite part was always the talking totems. And I remember the Tahitian Terrace. Think I've posted before about being scared of being dragged down to join the hula dancers. 😞 Another great post - you continue batting 1.000! - redsoxcarlos 1771.5 #80 6-23-15 7:24PMLike(1)Reply
i did the fantasmic BB package last visit. great view! it was too windy, so they cancelled the fireworks. bummed, but fabulous otherwise. yes, expensive. but it is not for everyday, either. - MsTikiMermadam 336.9 #671 6-18-15 5:31AMLikeReply

Main Street!!! Nothing beats walking down Main Street with all the sights, sound and smells! And, seeing the Magical castle down the way....spectacular!!! - MommyandBash 110.0 #3330 6-16-15 6:10PMLikeReply
Main street, the castle & the train. With a park hopper, you can split the remainder of the time...but for a first time, nothing beats Main Street! Have fun!! - azcoolmom 251.6 #1262 6-16-15 9:23PMLikeReply
I remember Casa de Fritos! This is one of my very favorite things about MW- learning new facts & reminding me of all things Disney. Thanx!!
I would like a chance. Little known fact.....I often wore a plastic hineyboom and polka dotted pink (not red) shiny dress. I didn't wear the pumps. Odd but true. 1983. Wheeee - Butterlina 1537.6 #99 6-11-15 5:50PMLike(2)Reply
As a "snail mail"enthusiast, I would love this. here is my little known Disney fact:if you put them in a thermal lunch bag, turkey legs, bought at 11:00 a.m. , will make it all the way to utah and still be warm! - iteachdisney 194.7 #1990 6-11-15 6:15PMLike(1)Reply
Thank you! We were able to ride in the lilly belle alone. Learned the history of some rides, and some about Walt's dream. We also received $60 each in food coupons. And we were able to ride all the rides we wanted to through the fast pass line, or exit. We hung out with our VIP guide for 6 hours. And we enjoyed laughing with him. :) - blubecca7 36.3 #5123 6-7-15 12:57AMLike(6)Reply

Great story, that had me tearing up! She saved up for her own ballon, that part got me. Then giving it away, holy wow! Gotta love that. You must be proud. And the picture, that went so well with the story! Thanks for sharing. Tell her that when she comes back to the parks, she can have as many balloons as she wants, my treat! (Based on her approximate height/weight in the photo, I figure I'll only be on the hook for a MAX. 11 balloons with that offer, over that and she would fly away! Ha!) - KennyV 737.2 #236 6-4-15 2:11PMLike(6)Reply
Please DM me next time you will be at the parks. I want to join the ranks of those willing to meet up and give her the balloon of her choice! God bless! - MelodyMouse 5506.2 #16 6-4-15 2:56PMLike(2)Reply

Stickers nights are Tuesdays. Admin releases a new (or sometimes old) sticker set and they are for sale with MW credits in the MW Store; which you can navigate to by using the three bars to get to the menu and choosing MW Store or using the Navigate button when in the lounge and choosing MW Store. Sometimes, like right now, there are still stickers left from sticker night. Once you have stickers you can go to your "My MW" and view your collection or choose to "Feature" the sticker so it shows up by your name. You can also add them to your posts and comments by clicking the "Stickers" button and choosing a sticker to use. MW Credits are accumulated from participation in the lounge and wait times or you can purchase them from the MW Store. - 1HitchhikingGhost 237.7 #1429 5-27-15 1:44PMLike(1)Reply
Great pix- will have to satisfy me till October! Thanx.
Yes! I actually didn't notice that until the second time I watched when I had a better seat. I noticed it when I started looking at my pictures from the two different showings and noticed the flowers I had captured were two different colors. I love this parade! - thatgirljenn 1514.2 #100 5-27-15 11:04AMLike(1)Reply

I can understand how upsetting that would be--you clearly weren't able to eat breakfast, which you paid for. I have had a few sub-par dining experiences, and asked to speak to a lead about them-- in all cases, Disney was understanding and accommodating. I realize that it's probably too late to do this now, but perhaps you could speak to someone in guest services at City Hall. They might be able to refund or give you a voucher. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 593.7 #320 5-26-15 5:02PMLike(1)Reply
When we went there for breakfast, it was a 9am reservation and we felt so rushed! We weren't even done eating and they were clearing out plates! Now we only go to goofys kitchen and the one at paradise pier! And I do love Ariel's grotto! - DCMAGurl 158.6 #2501 5-26-15 5:14PMLikeReply
We book the first seating on an early entrance day into the park. Never feels rushed, food is fast and the characters are fresh and full of fun. In fact, we are usually bombarded and I have to shoo away Tigger so my mini can eat! ;) Definitely try an earlier breakfast next time. - PixiePrincessPolly 57.7 #4289 5-26-15 10:30PMLikeReply
I went!! It was my 3rd one in a row. I missed the end by 2 hours but I was on property for 30 hours straight still!! I love these events. Yes it was extremely packed and sometimes frustrating, but totally worth it! I got to experience Paint the Night and the new fireworks, both of which had me in tears. I got to see the upgrades on Matterhorn and only had to wait 25 minutes since I went right at 6am! I met up with some awesome Mwers at different times of the day, some I had already met and some I was meeting for the first time! I wish I would have been able to travel over to the DCA side but I was too afraid of getting stuck in the esplanade so I never left the Disneyland side. I will continue to go to 24 hour events as long as they have them and I can make it! - thatgirljenn 1514.2 #100 5-24-15 11:25AMLike(4)Reply
I got there at about 4:15a, had an easy time parking at M&F and got in quickly through DTD. I was able to get on buzz, Matterhorn, soarin, and ca screamin in the morning. Ate breakfast at flo's. Then just sorta wandered around. I wanted some of the popcorn buckets and sippers but didn't want to wait. The merch lines were crazy too. I ended up leaving by 1p cuz I wanted to try and beat holiday traffic back home to SD (didn't happen hahaha!!). I'm glad I went though to check it out and glad I went early and didn't deal with the chaos that a lot of people endured trying to get in later in the day and night. Props to all the CMs who handled everything and put on a great event. It can't be easy and I applaud you all. 👏🏻 - DisneyLuvinMama 354.7 #613 5-24-15 11:59AMLike(1)Reply
Went around 1pm Friday straight to Disneyland. I know it reached capacity, but it seemed like so many people were saving spots for the parade and fireworks so the rest of the park wasn't as busy as you'd think. At one point I even got my own boat at Small World! After the fireworks and second Fantasmic, I was able to basically walk on to a lot of rides. For half the time it was a solo trip, but it was great cuz I could do what I wanted. It honestly was one of my all time favorite trips. And yes,I made it to 6am! - JediKitty 887.3 #182 5-25-15 12:09AMLike(1)Reply

I had a quick business trip to Orlando last month and squeezed in a few days at the parks. I did like the WDW fast pass arrangements, and even though we didn't get the band I can see how that would be a big advantage.
WDW would run out of FP by noon for most attractions so FP+ works great for us. We stay on pacific time so no need to rush to the parks. Plus we go in the summer so it's much more pleasant after the sun sets. - richiii3 667.7 #276 5-4-15 8:54AMLikeReply
I agree! The time difference kicked our butt in the morning. It was nice to know that I didn't have to be there at rope drop to get the FP for the rides we wanted. - fab5 149.9 #2631 5-5-15 5:42AMLikeReply
I have stayed at all three hotels over t he years and have found that the park view concierge level at Paradise Pier is the most magical. We keep open the curtains and see the lights of DCA all night. However, the concierge level is much More...
Personally, I think that if it's the first time, or a one time event, it should be DLH :) It's the classic hotel! I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed with Paradise Pier (can't really comment on it because I haven't stayed there), but DLH is really the full, traditional Disneyland resort experience. Paradise Pier is really just a building with hotel rooms and a pool on the deck--im sure it's really fun, but the grounds of DLH, just add so much, I feel. - Spoonful_O_Sugar 593.7 #320 4-21-15 11:19AMLike(8)Reply
I've never stayed at DL hotel, just paradise pier. And honestly, you get the same on property perks (magic morning and the grand entrance to DCA) as the DL hotel, for lower rates. It is a really cute hotel and we had a wonderful experience. But if you can stay at the DL hotel, why not? You should do it At least once. The disneyland hotel is full of disneyland decor, which is awesome, with paradise pier feels like paradise pier at dca. (You can also access disneylands pool if you stay at paradise pier) - PracticallyPerfectKaila 27.5 #5806 4-21-15 10:33AMLike(2)Reply
There's one that is by Small World Mall, one is the little building at Casey Jr's entrance, one is the mushroom at Alice, and I believe the Lighthouse at Storybook Canals. - CM_Shadowgamer 2465.3 #49 4-8-15 12:48PMLike(2)Reply
