i would like to thank every one of you all, waking up and seeing my flickr have over 2k+ hits overnight again is amazing. this past month alone about 90% of my 6k or so hits is just from mousewait and i'm currently around 30k+ hits since i started my flickr almost a year ago now. it's crazy how a hobby i started almost a year ago when i got my ap could have grown so much. i look back at my old pictures and i kinda laugh and can critique myself now. it's always fun to learn new things and this past year i've learned a lot and i'm always learning new things. sure there are a lot of pictures of disneyland but to make a shot of your own and different is the challenging thing. if you ever spot me and my brother at the parks when we're just taking pictures we're always looking at new ways to shoot things. it was great to see some of you yesterday and to tell me your new laptop/phone wallpaper is my partners picture, or even through instagram or any other form and say its your new background. you all deserve lumpia -xchristopherguntherninjapandalumpiamouse84 - chris.2507.3 #24 3-12-12 2:15PMLike(6) Reply

Still, hours after receiving the very sad news of her passing, I am at a loss for the right words... She was a treasure to our family. She blessed us in HUGE ways with her beautiful friendship. The impact she had on this community of friends was nothing short of amazing. Well said Dave, thanks for posting this. You never know who is on the other end, it could be someone who is younger, someone who just lost a loved one, a person with a learning disability, or someone who has watched the MW story videos and wants to be a part of the community. Just because they don't have the best communication skills and they're not social media savvy doesn't make them a troll. We've had our share of trolls and weirdos over the past 3 years, but they are extremely rare compared to the massive number of legitimate users. Three years ago today MouseWait was approved by Apple and made its debut in the App Store! Several weeks before that, we went to Disneyland to test the app, and I remember sitting in the lobby of the Grand watching as the test wait times More...
Its crazy to think that its been 3 years. It honestly feels a lot longer..Its amazing at how big the community has gotten since the very first meetup..The life long friendships, the dreams that have come true, and the laughter that we all have in the parks on a daily basis.Its so neat to see all these meetups on a daily basis that get up to 80 people and happen not only at the parks but all over the state of California..Its pretty crazy to think that none of us would probably have ever met if it were not for this app...There are not many of us from the beginning who still actively post on MouseWait or attend meetups but I know that each and everyone of them is extremely grateful for the people who have been brought into their lives because of this app....I know some people might get annoyed at times by people posting in the lounge and their countdowns to the park, what is your favorite ride, etc etc but you have to remember, you were once that new kid on the block that was just as excited to post in the lounge and join in on the fun and not read the FAQ....I look forward this weekend seeing old friends and meeting new ones and finally getting the chance to meet some of you that I've seen in the lounge for sometime but never had the chance to meet in person....Hope everyone has a fun a weekend!!! Thanks to Mousewait: I think leggings and uggs are a viable fashion choice, I tried (and failed) to eat a Matterhorn sundae by myself, I know who Denny Hamlin is, I know where all the bars are in the resort, I've had many sleepless nights and a phone fall on my face more than once, I know about penny wise and honey badgers and Rebecca black and gangnam style and hidin yo kids, I witnessed a banana peeled, I own vinylmations and pins and earhats and about $1000 worth of crap from company d. Yeah, thanks. 😏 Actually, I have a lot to thank MW for: late night craft frenzies, staying up all night talking in our hotel rooms, going to WDW with people I barely knew 6 months, realizing that we know everyone on our floor, pizza parties, group texts, squeezing 40 people on a jungle cruise boat and making the skipper laugh too hard to spiel, going to gay days and bats day and dapper day and Harry potter day, answering "80" when the cm asks "how many?" and then watching them panic, reading about the MW babies being born and watching them grow up and finally being tall enough to ride the big kid rides, skipping down main street arm in arm like a bunch of doofuses, ☔ on pirates, dressing up like plaids and getting a talking to by security, meat babies, laying on the ground to watch fireworks, having someone text "are you home safely?" at 2am, and always being there for you, even when life sucks. I really truly admire you Admin for truly always trying to make this app better. I owe you so much for all you have done for us and I just want everyone to have that chance to know how amazing this app and the people are on here (every single member). I know I will be as welcoming to anyone who enters this lounge whether for a day or months, and help this in the nicest way possible to guide them through ways of the lounge. You have done so much and I honestly hope everyone who enters, whoever they are are treated with Respect. Because everyone does deserve that. I never claimed to be an ambassador, I'm just an elementary teacher who tries to distill these actions in their own lives too. This is why I come to this happy place. To escape from the real world. I deal with the public everyday and Disneyland is the only place where I feel that I am treated just like how I treat my customers at work. With eagerness and joy, and not being "bothered" because someone asked me something or ignored. 😤Just about everywhere you go now a days that's seems to be the way people treat customers. I pray that Disney keeps up on hiring and keeping employees like our CMBaloo.😃 He is what Disneyland is all about. Taking pride in what you do and making others happy.
