We did chef de France this past trip and very much enjoyed it, liberty tree tavern is pretty good , mamma melrose was good and Tony's , narcooses was very good but I would recommend that more for adults - tracsant

I see the whispering canyon cafe only take some dining plan. Was the selection still good for what was offered.

I think the only thing that changed was the menus. For dinner, the only option is the all you can eat skillet and that is not on the lunch menu anymore. We really liked the food at lunch when we ate there last year. Dining plan should still be 1 TS credit for all meals here. - Andrea84

Hey 5DL! When we were there for dinner in Nov, everyone had to get the same thing. I forgot what it was called, but it came with chicken, ribs, sausage, and fish. It also came with beans, potatoes, and corn on the cob. They serve it family style, like Ohana does. The chicken was good, the sausage and the fish were great, and the ribs... well they were so-so. The food was EXCELLENT when were there in 2008. This past Nov, the food was pretty good. The atmosphere is fabulous, though! Super fun! - BagGal

Ok I made my reservation for DVC from 6-15 of aug. We are going to stay the aug 3-5 at either the Port Orleans or pop. We need to make that reservation. But I'm going forward and hoping for the best. Gues I will start looking at dining now. While I watch the airfares. Yay

This so silly of DVC not sure who thought of this one. Called to make reservation for aug 3 to 15. Informed that they are only allowing you to make reservations for 7 nights at a time. You have to keep going back every day to add on each subsequent night. Unbelievable. I will now have to go back tomorrow to add for Wed 8/14 and then the next day after that to add thurs 8/15 or just wait 2 days and do them at the same time. Who thinks of this stuff. Who has time to keep calling back. Come on
That's weird we booked with DVC our home base at bay lake tower for nov 10-20...home base is 11 months out...if its not your home base you have to wait 7 months out... - islandgirl58
