Does anyone remember these cards? They used to give them out to whomever would sit in the driver's section of the monorail. Of course,they don't do this anymore for safety reasons,but it was really cool when they did:-)
Sorry for the non-Disney post,but this is a pic from NYC last night that my friend sent me. This is supposed to be a highway,not a lake...it amazes me. It's going to take awhile for us all to get back to normal here. It's truly crazy. Glad a lot of u are okay. Just wanted to share with you guys. These are pics friends sent me that are from NYC....yuppp...this is Manhattan...isn't that nuts??? Sorry,i know this isn't disney-related. I just wanted to share. The worst part should be over and the winds should be dwindling down. As of now,the winds sound insane. Hopefully it passes soon!! Prayers for everyone dealing with this right now!

Lol..the look on his face really was priceless. The only reason it worked tho was because we had never ever been there before...so it wasn't even a thought. Maybe if you packed snow-wear and warm jackets,etc. I would trick my children. Throw them off a bit. LOL

I still can't believe that nyc subways,broadway shows,and all of the casinos at atlantic city are shutting down...all stores and businesses in nyc..it's just nuts to me..i'm a native new yorker and i've never known of there being hurricanes there before. Blizzards i understand,but this is just nuts. It's really

Soooo since there's a hurricane coming and i'm stuck indoors for awhile...u know what that means....more time to MouseWait!!! Yayyyyyy! LOL...this is the warm apple crumble dessert from sci-fi diner (a la mode of course..lol) It was okay. I like their peanut-butter and chocolate cake better and the red velvet cheesecake depending on my mood,but this is quite good too:-) So what are everyone's favorite desserts at Disney? I'm sure this question was asked before.lol. I have SO many to choose from i don't know where to begin..dole whips,candy apples,cupcakes,desserts at all of the countries,etc.etc..i can't choose....i like everything that Disney has to offer:D lol
I should probably ignore this post since its going to make me really hungry but oh well. So here I go, dole whips, cupcakes, creeps from France, carrot cake cookies, Mickey cookies, all the desserts at Boma, pineapple cake thingy at 'ohana, chocolate cake at cali grill(it seriously the most amazing cake in the world, amazing chocolate, cherry ice cream, and really good cherry topping) s'mores from the whispering canyon cafe(the marshmallow gelato that comes with it is DELICIOUS!), dole whips, uh Beverly(I consider it a dessert!), dole whips, dole whip floats, dole whips, chocolate extinction at Trex and its counterpart at rainforest cafe, citrus swirls(so amazing!) oh yeah and I almost forgot dole whips!!! - nodell111

So where i am everyone is evacuating and the railroads are shutting down and most of NYC,etc....that's crazy..this happened last time with hurricane irene and i couldn't believe that they were shutting down NYC...it's the city that never sleeps...what is it with all of these hurricanes?? Where i am in nj everyone is preparing to stay in and stocking up on food,etc...how are all of you doing? Have you heard about this on the news? Crazy i tell ya!! I think God is mad...lol...stay safe everyone who is in the storm's path..stay indoors and wait till it passes before u go anywhere. Hope everyone else is doing well. What have u all been up to? :-)
