Not scary at all!! It's my favorite. My motto is to try every ride at disney and then if i don't like it, then at least i know i tried it...u won't know unless you go on...then if you don't like it, then you don't have to go on ever again...but at least you did it to know...u can't go by how others feel about it unless u try it yourself...then u can form an opinion having been on it firsthand😊 i think you'll like it!!

My daughter first road this when she was 3 1/2. She was scared but tried it. It instantly became her favorite ride. She does not like fast rides like space mtn, BTM, etc. You should definitely try it. There's so much more to the ride than the big drop at the end. Remember..it can't be that bad if they didn't have safety bars before! - Disneyaddict

I also think you should try spaceship earth, space mountain, rock n' roller coaster, big thunder mountain railroad, and expedition everest....but let's start off with splash mountain....baby steps for u😀 You'll be loving all of those rides in no time!! Lol
