I went December 5-10 2010 and it was warm during the day didn't rain on us at all.But a few nights it was chilly. Make sure to take a hoodie or a light coat for night time things but other than that it was enjoyable.
I went Dec 8-13 2013 and never saw one drop. It was warm during the day and cooler at night. One night it was actually pretty chilly - wickedale  328.3 #662 7:44PM

Would anyone know a good online travel agency that I could look into that would allow me to do things from home? One that's actually worth looking into and that isn't a scam?
I have not done any type of travel agent schooling, but I've heard it's not fun, it's a lot of pressure and not what you think it'd be. Β If you do decide to do it, I wish you the best of luck and hope what I've heard is wrong :) - DizneyGirl  644.6 #8 7:14PM

Well, I did it way back in the 90's, so I'm sure it has changed. I have an Associate degree in Air Transportation Business and later completed the College of Disney Knowledge via fax! (Boy, that makes me feel old!) - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  887.4 #3 7:17PM
So is the College of Disney to become a TA? - mrsincredible  873.5 #5 8:02PM
No, the College of Disney Knowledge is to become a Disney destination specialist. I went to a community college to earn my degree in Air Transportation Business. It took another year for an agency to hire me... because I didn't have any actual experience. (No, but I had a degree! How do you get experience if no one will hire you?) - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  887.4 #3 8:08PM
No doubt! - mrsincredible  873.5 #5 4:41AM
Well you have to become a travel agency before Disney allows you to go through the college of knowledge or sign up under an agency. Unless you really know the travel industry, I would advise finding an existing agency. I am a TA now :) - wickedale  328.3 #662 11:30PM

What I'm looking for is a way to work from home if I have to and work for disney too if that makes any sense.

Well, I can barely post at all, it takes about 5 minutes of trying to post. I can't post any photos at all. I can only post in the Hub, and I found that some MWers are usually in the WDW Talk section and don't see my posts, since they are in the Hub. Others with the same phone are having the same issues. - DizneyGirl  644.6 #8 5:20PM

If I may, I've sent updates that needed to be addressed a while ago. But yes, as some have mentioned, we're the lesser of the two because we don't make the team as much money, if that makes sense. (I'm going to be completely honest, it took a bit of a push to get WDW MW into production as it was. I'm surprised it took off as much as it did). Our biggest issue is the biggest issue of the park: Most people on here are not in the area. Looking at it I seriously think its about 95% out of state, 5% in Orlando/State. Keep emailing the team, that way they know that this app is actually cared about and we're not using it simply for a chat room. - IndyandMarion  1242.6 #1 7:04PM

So you are saying it would be worth it? And would work out for the better with as many as we will have going?
Well depending on the time you go there could be great discounts on your room. You can save 10% on some sit down dinning and 10 % on shopping and you have to make sure you will get another trip out of it or it is not worth it. If you decide to do a dinning plan you can get a little break on the price of that but not much. - mmddgp  446.9 #15 11:34AM
Oh and with a total of 7 you would need 2 rooms so that would be double discount. - mmddgp  446.9 #15 11:36AM

In my opinion (as someone who is a 7 hour drive from Disneyland and opposite coast of WDW), an annual pass makes up for itself in 2-3 visits if staying at least 3-4 nights each time. If you know you will go that much, get the passes. I have also heard of people buying an annual pass for one member of the group for the discounts if you are going only once and can get better priced tickets for the rest of the group. You really just need to price it out both ways - duckymomo  36.1 #4895 11:51AM
Here is what I do. I call directly to Disney travel. Have them work the numbers both ways with and with out. There are also times that there is no annual pass discount available so you have to be careful. When we went in march the spring discount was actually better than the annual pass so definately run the numbers - mmddgp  446.9 #15 12:25PM
You get a discount on the resorts as well - 5disneylovers  878.8 #4 3:54PM
I don't really k NJ ow about whenwe wwould go. We wouldn't be able to do the APs until tax time 2015. So it would be after that but a good note 2 of the 5 kids would be free so that helps out and maybe just maybe we could squeeze 2 trips in if the did the APs - BBNMickey  20.9 #151 5:45PM

Help me out here so if we plan a trip for 7 for 2 adults and 5 kids. Pretend the 2 adults are APs when we purchase tickets do we still purchase tickets for all 7 or will it be for the 5 kids because the 2 adults are APs?

We r thinking about leaving a day early just to go how early do u think we would have to get there to get a fast pass to meet him?? This is a once in a lifetime opitunity - Tazhalo1  56.5 #4159 8:24AM
From what I read (not necessarily a reliable source) he'll be in the parade and that's it. No meet or autographs. Of course, that could change. - DizneyGirl  644.6 #8 11:23AM
😞now not sure if I sould go - Tazhalo1  56.5 #4159 12:04PM
As Indy said, run! LOL! If you aren't a big fan of Mark's, then do it another SWW. This is the only weekend we can go to SWW during our stay, so I guess we'll battle the crowds! - DizneyGirl  644.6 #8 12:50PM
I wish!! - singleprincess  68.9 #3880 9:31AM
