Good morning friends. If there is anyone in the studios in the next few days, would you please pick me up a map or two of the frozen cover? I would greatly appreciate it๐Ÿ˜˜. Thank you thank you!๐Ÿ˜˜

Good afternoon friends! Well 48 days and we will be at studios taking part in the frozen festivities! I hope there is some memorabilia left as it will be the last day. My only concern is it is Labor Day sept 1st that day and they have extended hour. I tend to stay clear of those parks on those days because they seem so much busier. I was able to switch my fp and dinning but I was not able to do sc  More...

Good morning friends! Yes today was one of my favorite days! The ornament premier at Hallmark!๐ŸŽ…๐ŸŽ„my hubbie was happy" the tradition continues" says " man that was a RUSH"! Lol!!! ( and the kids think its me! ) I wish I had my phone with me to get evidence! He had the buggy filled before I turned the corner! Any way, I have some presents!!!! One is an ornament the others are not so add who eve  More...
So funny , it's always the hubby's isn't it?? I wish I had a fave Christmas story , truth be told the only thing I like about it is the decor. I guess it would just be knowing through my whole childhood how hard my single mom worked to try and give us presents and it didn't always work out but what she didn't realize was that made us who we are, we don't care about material things or name brand or getting the biggest most expensive things and we never have and we have never judged anyone for that , I could care less if my hubs ever gave me anything , I have him and that's all that matters , so I yea I guess knowing how much my mother loved us and worked so hard for us & tried to make the holidays good are best memories I have , thank you gayle :( - tracsant  913.6 #2 8:51AM
Aww why the sad face! That was a beautiful memory. You know as kids sometimes we don't realize what we have or had till we are adults! We really were poor in$ growing up. We had 5 kids and my dad was the only one who worked at either a gas station or a western auto and I remember him saying he made 50.00 a week and we lived I'm government housing most of our young lives. I also remember that a few years we received presents from Salvation Army and back then they were not new toys but they were new to us. One of my favorites was this doll that had a home made emerald green satin long gown on, it was so beautiful! So please don't be sad some of my greatest memories are with family not spending a dime on gifts but enjoying time together. I'm so sad these holiday times that we don't have the time together our families had because we all have jobs. Wish we had the days of yesteryear! - mmddgp  377.4 #18 9:04AM
My hubs and I feel the same... we hardly ever get gifts for each other (neither of our families had a lot of money growing up either), our hearts are full of joy just being together and seeing our boys excited. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 9:04AM
Oh no I didn't mean a sad face ( fluffy fingers) those were the best gifts she could ever give us, it really never bothered us if we didn't get anything , that's all we new , she went to work at 5 am and most of the time didn't get home till 10 so we were just happy spending time with her - tracsant  913.6 #2 9:20AM
I can completely relate and have similar values because of it. My long time boyfriend and I rarely give gifts to one another. We value togetherness and life experiences. I wish I could hug you!! - missmimi90  1365.4 #89 1:14PM
((Hugs)) - tracsant  913.6 #2 2:08PM
Sounds like the perfect day!! My favorite Christmas story is the birth of our Lord, but fav memories are wrapped up in our traditions... making and keeping Christmas traditions with our boys. From watching our favorite Christmas movies and cartoons, to baking our favorite holiday candies and cookies, to decorating at home, to seeing family and enjoying meals with them... it's my favorite time of year and starts early, right before Thanksgiving. Please add me and thank you Gayle!! - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 9:10AM
I attended my local ornament premier this morning! $233 and 2100 points later... One of my favorite Christmas memories happened during my Anglito trip to Disneyland last December. I was only there for two days (and they weren't even full days). After Magzilla rained on my Christmas parade in Nov, the one thing I didn't want to miss was the Christmas parade! Everyone played along and we all (there was... about 10 of us?) watched the Christmas parade together and loved it! Amazing holiday memories! โ„ - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  808.2 #3 12:45PM

I think we should dedicate a day to Universal and allow everyone to share these experiences with us Disney folk... the next time I take my boys to WDW, I want to spend a few days there, and I am COMPLETELY clueless when it comes to Universal. We went in 2006 when I was pregnant with Jonah - it was just me and Mr I, and all we did was walk both parks, no rides, no food. And, it's changed A LOT since then even. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 7:42AM
And, to experience most things for kids ages 3-8, can you dedicate one day per park and see most everything? I don't want to take too much time away from Disney, but I want to experience most things if possible. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 7:48AM
Keep in mind, they are too small to ride, and Mr I is a scaredy cat, lol, so we will skip most of the roller coasters anyway. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 7:49AM
They and you would love it, we dedicate at least 2 days to it on vacation we stay at one of their on site resorts , your room key is your FP - tracsant  913.6 #2 8:03AM
Omg there is a lot. Of things they can do there Maggie. Jonah can do most everything. When we go in sept we can do the whole park in one day. We spend a day in each park. They would love Seuss land and marvels island especially the atv parade where they ride out then there is a meet and greet with Spider-Man, captain America, wolverine, doc oc, green goblin, dr doom, a couple of girls( I Forget their names) the busiest part is HP area so I would go there first thing in the morning or right befor closing. The water rides are fun also there are three. Jarasic park, blutos barge, and duddly do right. They would love all these! They only thing to remember now is that in order to ride the new train from hogs mead to the new area you need a park to park ticket but if that didn't matter you can just buy a two day ticket and visit hog mead at islands in one day and the new area when you visit universal. At universal there are shows and parades and cute rides they can do like mib and et usually a stage show with scooby and friends and save time to take a break at the curious George splash zone. The kids love it there even the older ones because there is also a ball pit that they Can shoot ball from these canon like shooters. - mmddgp  377.4 #18 8:07AM
Weird my whole reply didn't post, anyway now they have you do a separate photo Id for your FP/express pass which make awesome keepsakes and you just show it on the FP line and you go right on , no ressies love love love it, we are able to do both parks in a matter of hrs without killing ourselves the kiddos would love suess landing , there are a lot other areas for them too , and the city walk is right there - tracsant  913.6 #2 8:08AM
We are staying at cabana bay three nights so we will have early admission no express๐Ÿ˜ข but usually in sept we really don't need express the lines are Usually walk on or no more than a 20 min wait. - mmddgp  377.4 #18 8:40AM
Good gosh, I need to do some research, I had no idea there was so much to do there for their age! I am so happy to hear we'll be able to do most things they can do in two days (a day for each park). How do you get the park to park ticket? They would love the train ride. Jonah doesn't like getting wet (crazy I know), so I'm sure we'd skip the water rides. But we would definitely like to walk through the Potter stuff, and all those other areas. I read they have a character breakfast - have you done that before? Mr I actually LOVES the minions and Gru, and I read they are part of it. I know he will also love all the Marvel stuff, and meeting the characters, probably more than the boys would. He's a Transformers fanatic, and I read Optimus Prime is also there. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 9:28AM
So, how do you handle the transition from a Universal hotel to a Disney resort? Does it take up a ton of your day? What do you do with your luggage in transition? We don't rent a car when we're in Orlando, but to do this would you have to? I was thinking of just checking into a Disney resort, and staying there the entire time, and finding transportation the first two days to Universal. But again, I'm clueless on what's the best and quickest way to make that transition. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 9:33AM
And I ask that because assuming check out at Universal is 11 and check in at Disney is 3:00, and we wouldn't want to just be sitting around waiting and waste a day of parks, etc., but wouldn't have a clue what to do with our luggage. - mrsincredible  770.1 #6 9:35AM
Well we have stayed at Disney most years and have just scheduled a cab to take us to and from Disney resort to universal it is quick a d easy. We schedule a pick up time and head to the parks and with the HP area we find that it is less busy middle of the week. This year we are staying at cabana bay an new universal resort and our plan is to get cab from airport to universal then in the day we transfer to Disney it will be a early check out and check in to Disney and head to Epcot first thing and just have the hotel deliver bags to rooms. Then to go home we will just have the magical express. We have done the character breakfast before but they had different characters, Spider-Man , cat and the hat and friends. Have not done the new one but the kids ask to so it all the time. Also about check in at Disney the last we did online check in it asks time if arrival and our flight was arriving at 9 and that's what I put and our rooms were ready so they may be ready for you. If not check them in at baggage check and pick them up after you get back from park. - mmddgp  377.4 #18 10:01AM
I agree! Universal Studios is VERY appropriate for younger children. Islands is more older crowd, but they do have to Seuss area which is fun for the little ones. Any specific questions, ask away! - ncjal  202.4 #33 1:25PM
