Good afternoon friends! Hope those in the eye of the storm are being safe and staying warm! Had our trip on a 24 hour hold, didn't know what to do about dinning!! Went and got gift cards last night and paid it off today! Yay! Also we were going to drive but for a few extra $ got flights into Orlando, will do ME and mears to universal and won't have to drive an hour from Sanford or rent a car plus our flight in arrives at 9 am giving us a full extra day there and flight home is at 830 pm giving us a full day there! Win win win!! Cheersčśś
We have taken all we can take! My hubby works out in the elements every day and I am just sunshine deprived..... So we decided to head south!!! Yes it's true!! Just booked Pops for 3-14 to 3-22. 30 days to go! Wahoo!!!
Good morning friends! It is freezing here! Soup is on to take to work today. This was my front yard yesterday 5-6 inches of new fallen snow. It is so pretty but so cold and I am getting tired of it. Have a great Monday. Be safe and stay warm!čî×
Not Disney I know but we do have a lot of Olympic followers on here. My nephews newest post. The first opening ceremony of the modern Olympics in Greece in 1896! Bring on the gamesčÄ┐ÔŁäčĆé
Thought this was cool! My nephew was a history major when

Off today so that was good. Be safe and warm out therečî×ÔťĘ how is it in your neck of the woods?
Thought this was pretty cool! Hope everyone is having a great night. Go Teams!čĆł
Carribean beach resort. We usually stay in valu but was able to upgrade for a few dollars more and get free dinning last aug. the kids had a great time. We had a smaller pool right out side our building that we were in every day. The bus stop was about 5 min walk away, the food court and main pool was just over the bridge-- not far at all. Our home for the week was in Jamaica. Really enjoyed it and the youngest wants to take his mom there this year. So sweet!
Second park of the day! Blizzard Beach! Again, schedule in the middle of the week. Get there early. The kids love the play areas, summit plummet is their favorite!! Not me!!!! I do enjoy the family raft ride and love that I don't have to walk up the hill to get to it, they have a ski lift, but it could get busy to use it. The wave pool is a lot of fun especially since they have inner tubes to use while your in there.
Yay! Parks of the day! ÔťĘTyphoon lagoonÔťĘ Up first! We have been doing water parks since the first year we went in 1993. It is one of our favorite down times. We usually schedule it in the middle of the trip to relax and recharge. Typhoon is the oldest of the two but back then there also was River Country also and that was a lot of fun also. The kids love the water parks and my husband really enjoys taking them around the different slides. About the only thing I do anymore is the lazy river and family raft ride and hang out in the kiddie areas( but I think last year was the last for hanging in the kiddie area the youngest will be big enough for the bigger slides). Try hard to get there when it first opens, the prime spots fill up fast. One of our favorite areas is sharks reef where you can snorkel-- we have not done that with the grandkids it has been so busy, maybe this year. If we drive to Florida we pack a lunch for the park if we have dinning plan we eat there, there are a couple if great spots. Before we leave we get an ice cream bucket Sunday to share. It is so much funčî×
ÔťĘPark of the dayÔťĘAnimal KingdomÔťĘ love this park! Enjoy walking into the park an as you make your way to the tree of life, there is wildlife to the right and left of you all the way up the pathway. The tree of life is amazing from a distance and once you get up close, it takes my breath away! Our first stop is usually the safari. After the safari we take time to go see our friends and favorite the gorillas on the trails. We do love to do river rapids. Everest has become a challenge but it's a great ride. Love the parade and can I leave without seeing festival of the lion king. We enjoy eating at tuskars, and flame tree back by the water. Have a great dayčśś
ÔťĘPark of the dayÔťĘStudios. First thing we used to do was run for toy story fp! We check times guide first and make sure we get in the things that run at certain times of the day.( Indy and the stunt show) enjoy every attraction here and. I do like tower, toy story and great movie ride and all favorites! Love fantasmic! Favorite place to eat pizza planet and Hollywood an vine. Favorite snack is frozen coffee from the writers shop. I have stayed at all valu resorts except AOA. Enjoyed them all. My favorite is pop century. Wish is was there today it is freezing here! Everyone be safe and stay warm wherever you may bečśś
Special request by 5DL! čśś They are not all beers, but some of our favorite stops! Enjoy your night all, stay warm they are calling for -20 to -30 with wind chills tonight! So wish I didn't have to work at 6 in the amčśČčśČčśČ. So wish I was in this warm sunshinečî×
ÔťĘEPCOT ÔťĘPark of the dayÔťĘ This is my favorite! Again from
The moment you enter and see space ship earth( the big golf ball) I am hooked!! First stop is test track-- love this ride! Universe of energy and mission space( love the blast off) then off to the land and ride soaring ( omg Amazng) living with the land and the lion king show is cute also. Eating at the garden grill was so fun and the food is great. ( wish they still had the ice cream social) and the food court on the bottom floor is good also. If we go more than one day to Epcot we spend time in the innovations buildings, lots of hands on things the kids can do. Next stop is the coke station!!! Yum! Beverly! NOT!!! On to the country's -- first stop Mexico and the boat ride inside. Love it! When we are there with the kids this is their first stop for the Duffy coloring station. Now to continue our way around stoping at every country for the ride or show they may have and of course the kid kot station. We almost always stop for a beer at brat at Germany, the dinner in Germany is also very good with German band and a dance floor. Really love garden festival and the wine and dine, stoping at American pavilion for the concert series they both have is one of our favorite things to do. Last year we saw boys to men and they were amazing! Moving on-- stoping at the other music venues in England for British Invasion and at Canada for Off Kilter-- love them both. Now during the flower garden festival there are garden kiosks set up all around the country's and the have a couple of great play areas for kids to interact in and the topitaries are amazing. During the food and wine there are food kiosks all around the world. We did this in oct and was so much fun(hint: some of the selections you can use snack options, next time I will save them and use at the event) ending the day with illuminations is perfect!! Have not stayed at any of the hotels surrounded at Epcot but have visited boardwalk and walked the shops, one of our favorite stops is the Espn club for dinner and a game or race. Sorry so long! Enjoy your day and stay warm!čśś
