21 hours WAHOO!!! We have done it a couple ways. We have got there early, rooms not ready, hung out at food court then headed to dtd after. Room ready, drop and roll on into a park or just hung out at hotel, swam dinned and then slept for an early start to the following day.
That sounds like our typical first day. Past re trips we have gone to dtd to eat at trex our first day. And a pic of the sign is a must. - txdisneymomma  165.4 #58 9:14AM
Sometimes we go to a park after for a few hours. - txdisneymomma  165.4 #58 9:15AM
We always get to WDW in the am.  Get on bus and go to a park.  Usually MK or EPCOT.  This time the plan is to arrive around noon.  Go to EPCOT to ride new Soarin' wasn't open last visit.  Eat and enjoy. - JekPorkins  16.5 #196 9:43AM
We usually drop our bags head downtown to eat then parks  - 5disneylovers  1283.1 #8 11:24AM

Soak up the memories!! You are going to have so much fun. Utilize you fp mde app to make the most of your day. ✨✨✨✨
We went last year at this time.  We checked out Friday before Memorial Day.  The crowds where not bad compared to a March Spring Break trip we took once. I did not see how the weekend shaped up though.  We ran into NO closures and got plenty of second chance FP's during the week. - JekPorkins  16.5 #196 9:48AM

Oh my. Yes they may but maybe a call to guest service might help also.
They need to suck it up and sleep on the plane. When going to WDW our flights are always that early.  - Lelundrial  1094.4 #206 8:10PM
My hubby is thrilled but he doesn't want to waste a day by taking a late flight and his favorite saying "happy wife happy life" so he grins and bears it. Lol - txdisneymomma  165.4 #58 6:02AM
When we did our land/sea trip. We ended up taking a red-eye flight so that we didn't lose a day at the parks. We were exhausted when we got there. No room to take a nap at. We got breakfast and headed into the parks. We kept zonking out on the buses, but we still managed. - Lelundrial  1094.4 #206 12:16PM

I hope everything works out! Yeah hard part about shades,  only the person with military id can check in.  - islandgirl58  525.3 #18 10:50AM
Any idea if their 17yr old or 19 old with military id could work to get park tickets at least? One or both of them will probably end up on our flight. - txdisneymomma  165.4 #58 6:10PM
I'm pretty sure the only people that can get you the tickets are the person that served and their spouse. - DizneyGirl  1564.5 #5 4:41AM
When hubby wakes up from his nap I will ask him.  - islandgirl58  525.3 #18 5:18PM
I emailed they said one of the defendants can check into their room(we we in same room) and if we prepurchase tickets 30-45 days before trip we can pick them up without sponsor. So WHEW!! They can take later flight now I don't care. Lol - txdisneymomma  165.4 #58 9:17AM
Awesome news - islandgirl58  525.3 #18 10:47AM
Defendants? What kind of trip is this? - Lelundrial  1094.4 #206 10:47AM
LOL I just noticed the defendants πŸ˜‚. Defendants aka teenagers. Lol fat fingers and autocorrect make great combos. - txdisneymomma  165.4 #58 12:20PM
So sorry.  If they want to pay for the fees to change let them.  If they allowed you to boom the flights why be upset now 😳.  We always try to go early as well.  Check in is not until 330.  - 5disneylovers  1283.1 #8 11:20AM

πŸ˜ƒ I'm Scott (also known as Radio-Man) from Jupiter, Florida, USA. My first visit was way back in December of 1971. I've been to WDW many times sinceβ—πŸ˜€β° - Radio-Man  386.2 #25 7:38AM
Hi, my name is Renee and I live on the island of Oahu. My family's first trip to WDW was last Fall, and we are going again this coming September for two weeks. We stayed at AKL last visit and will be doing the same this next one as well. We are typically a Disneyland family, as it's so much closer to Hawaii, but we absolutely fell head over heels in love with WDW and can't wait to be back again! - DarthTinkerbell  1617.9 #132 10:45AM
Hello! I'm Michelle (but everyone calls me Mimi). I'm from NY but live in SoCal now. My first trip was last September for my birthday! We stay off site. It's kind of ironic that even though I grew up in the northeast, I ended up going to Disneyland before Disney World. It took several years of frequent Disneyland visits before getting to WDW, but we LOVE it! - missmimi90  2081.4 #95 1:21PM
