I'm not fond of the movie actually..bambi and dumbo too. My father banned dumbo when i was little because it was too traumatic..lol...some of the parts in disney movies i think are too much for little kids to see. I prefer the lighter, happier ones - mickeynme

Port Orleans riverside is really cool for couples! So pretty and fairly quiet! We stayed there! But... Again it's Disney - I'd stay in a trash can if it meant I was going!!! We do plan to stay at AOA suites if we can get a discount next time!!

WDW with our daughter was amazing, pretty sure we won't ever top that birthday.haha We got married in November honeymoon was in February, and we got surprised two weeks before trip...found out I was pregnant with daughter. And I totally understand not wanting to go in July I went in July and it was hot and we live on Texas coast. Lol. - txdisneymomma

We went for our honeymoon - we had more fun going from country to country in Epcot than any sit down place... Behind England is a quiet bench area on the water. We ordered fish and chips and sat there for hours. Also loved Italy!!! Both places!!! Congrats!!!

We go every other July... It usually rains once or twice but only a quick shower!!! Or it's misty out! We are geeky - we have our ponchos ready at all times!
I'm not sure how frequently it rains that time of year, but it will be HOT & HUMID! If you are a Seattle native like me, that may be very difficult to deal with. I prefer to wait until October. - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

We usually go around Labor Day each year and there is a quick rain shower each afternoon, but it's not too bad. The crowds are very low and most of the rides are no more than a 15 minute wait and many rides are a walk on. It is very hot and humid but it's manageable, especially if you take an afternoon break to swim or relax indoors. - Andrea84

Went in July.. Loved t- Rex, noisy though... Tuskr house, Sci fi drive in theater, those were our favorites this summer!

I to have a separate bank account. I work full time and 250 every two weeks goes into the trip fund. Every two years we go! It usually takes about two years to get what I need.. Also we have to travel school vacation - we are teachers. If we go in the summer it is cheaper! Works for us - worth every penny saved!

We stay at a moderate resort.. We rotate through them all every two years... About 169-189 a night.. We walk to stay at a more expensive resort like wilderness or animal kingdom but they are 330 plus a night - a huge jump... Port Orleans was my favorite so far - both! But... Next time I may try art of animation or the poly if I roll into some cash! My two boys want to stay at all star sports... Heard great things about it but worried about size!!

We have stayed at CBR, PO, AKL all of the Valu( our favorite Pops). I don't think there is any bad resort on Disney property it is a matter of preference and budget. AKL was amazing. Discount wise if you have the opportunity to go in valu season it will save you. Having the Disney visa can save you on hotel and merchandise along with the annual pass. Booking through a travel agent or AAA also has discount benifits. Watching for specials that are announced can save you money on rooms and or dinning. Start by booking and just keep checking you can always change your plans around for the better deal. Have fun planning - mmddgp
