All packed and ready!!! Just taking care of some last minute stuff on my lunch break. (Getting my oil changed and some new windshield wipers-hopefully I will not need them though!)
It's getting hard to concentrate at work!!!
So I guess last night was my turn to have a Disney World trip nightmare. So in my dream I arrive to Disney World and discover that I had left my magic bands at home. My daughter started crying when she found out that we would have to get the gray ones. As I was trying to make my way to guest services I was stopped by someone that wanted me to take a survey. I agreed and sat down to fill out a very long survey. For some reason I kept getting stuck on the last question. Every time I would start to read it someone or something would interrupt me and I'd have to start over. I finally woke up frustrated and exhausted. Then I immediately put the magic bands in the bag I'm taking to Disney! Happy Hump Day everyone!
Happy Single Digit Day!!! I'm so excited- I dreamed about Disney World all night!
I have secretly started packing. Shhh-don't tell my husband he already thinks I'm crazy!
I just returned to my office after attending a funeral for the biggest Mickey Mouse fan I have ever known. Thom was an attorney who I'd come to know while I worked with Children and a Family Services. His office was decorated with as much Disney memorabilia as you would find at any of the stores on Disney property. It was insane! (I hear his house was just the same.) He had over 2000 Disney neckties and wore one every day along with his Mickey Mouse watch. It was always fascinating to me that he had no regard for what others thought and wore what he wanted-even in court! Today the pastor and all of the pall bearers wore Mickey Mouse neckties. There was a large Mickey Mouse head made from 3 wreaths and the funeral concluded with the song "Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah". It was such a fitting tribute. It was also beautiful to see how his love for Disney could bring smiles to the faces of his loved ones during such a sad event. Rest in peace Thom.
Got my bands this week!!! Question for you guys... This trip we are purchasing tickets through the cheerleader organization so we can't pick them up until we arrive at WDW. I have used magic bands before but purchased a package direct from Disney so I was able to set up fastpass plus before I left. This time I won't be able to link my ticket I guess until I get there. Have any of you had paper tickets and linked to you magic band? Was this pretty simple?? Were there any good fastpass plus options left???
So excited! My wait list came through so I will not have to split my stay between Old Key West and Animal Kingdom Lodge. We will be at AKL all 4 nights!!! So happy I won't have to unpack repack then unpack again!!!
Good Morning!!! Today's forecast calls for 3-5 inches of snow. That's a big deal for us here in south Alabama. (We haven't had any snow that actually stuck since 2010.) That means no school or work for 2 days!!!!
We are headed to DW March 14-17. I've never been in March before. Can anyone tell me what the crowds will be like?
For the first time ever I have 2 countdowns. This is the 1st...
We just got a bid to Disney World for UCA National Cheerleader Competition!!! So it looks like we get to take an extra trip in March. I guess we will be with the group of cheerleaders that everyone always complains about-lol!!!
I LOVE my Disney tree. It's always the first one up and the last one down!!
Good Morning!!! This makes me smile every time I see it!
I officially have a new countdown!!!
Thanks so much for the postcard Mzdisnee! It sure did brighten my Monday!!
My daughter spent the night with my mom last night. My mom told me that my daughter laughed in her sleep all night. This morning mom asked her what she was dreaming about. She said Disney World. â¤ðð
