I read somewhere that they will be doing this at Club Cool in Epcot. I didn't read any dates, though. What's her name? Mine is Kalena and I can never find my name lol. It's a Hawaiian name so I'm hoping to find it when we go there! - kayxobelle  156.5 #47 8:04AM

Port Orleans Riverside. We have stayed there 3 times. The whole family loved it. It was much easier to get around. I did not feel like we had to walk miles to get to bus stop or food court. We also love the atmosphere. Being able to take a boat to Downtown Disney is awesome!
The only moderate we stayed was Coronado Springs, it was nice , very big and depending where your rm is can take a while to get to the main building and the pool area , Christmas time is a perfect time to go :) - tracsant  913.3 #2 7:59PM
I have stayed at POFQ several times and I love it. It is smaller than the other mods. It is pretty at Christmas but I really don't care for the clown decor they have all year. I haven't stayed at POR in 20 yrs but I have friends who love it and always stay there. I don't think I would like Caribbean Beach. Too spread out and a bunch of Bus stops. I like Pop just as well as POFQ for the money. - lghr  36.0 #110 8:20PM

I've been in October a total of 5 times. It is my favorite time to visit. I have noticed an increase in crowd levels every year. However, it is still very enjoyable. The only time I can remember thinking-this is terrible was on the Saturday before Columbus Day. We were at Epcot Food and Wine. I knew we should not have gone (locals and 3 day holiday), but it was the only day our schedule woul  More...
October can be busy, but it's not crazy busy. There are so many great reasons to go in October (weather, MNSSHP, Food & Wine Festival). It's my favorite month to visit! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  806.3 #3 6:16PM
Weather is a big part. We wanted warm enough for water parks but not so warm we felt like we were back home in AZ. The friends were going with are big into wine so they'll like that part. And the kids will all enjoy the halloween decor (as will the adults) - timonT  250.9 #26 11:44AM
High temps and the humidity drop (but not completely) in October. Being Arizonans, I think you'll be okay! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  806.3 #3 4:08PM
Totally agree! October was a great Month to go! It is busier around sweetest day weekend and Halloween but the earlier part in October was great - mmddgp  376.8 #18 6:20PM

It is kinda like valentines day only in October. It is usually around Columbus Day or the weekend after. - mmddgp  376.8 #18 11:48AM

Umm I think it is a "hallmark " thing. You know another holiday to sell more cards, flowers, candy, jewelry !! - mmddgp  376.8 #18 8:00PM
I'm excited to pack some halloween window decorations for our room at Pop. I am bummed that our week is blacked out for free dining. Still hoping for a room discount ( they only have discounts through oct 3 right now) - timonT  250.9 #26 11:45AM
We were there last year oct 12 till the 19th. It was pretty hit. Vrowds were on the hugh side a couple of days they added hours to the parks we were in because of the crowds and at HS they added fantasmic for an extra show - Bakerjars  237.5 #28 4:31PM
Yeah we noticed the parks close on the early side that week - timonT  250.9 #26 5:39PM

When she was his age she loved Cars followed by The Lion King then The Nightmare Before Christmas (which I thought was strange for her to like at that age). I won't even attempt to guess how many times I've seen Cars!!We went through a Jungle Book phase around the age of 4. For a few weeks it was the only movie that she wanted to watch while we were in the car :) My all time favorite was Robin H  More...

For my last couple of trips I have taken my little Kodak point and shoot. It is waterproof so I have been able to take photos on Splash Mountain and at the water parks when we went. The pictures actually turn out very well. I got tired of lugging my big camera and always worrying about it getting broken.

Well, i used to carry my Dslr before but i feel it is huge especially if i wanna pack minimal during my weekender "Angelito" trips (yeah). So i just use my iPhone/iPod as a camera........ However if u want an investment camera, in my opinion, try to look for those mirrorless cameras. Might be lil pricey but looks awesome - otilegna  1750.3 #66 5:06PM
I know everyone uses their iPhones but when I take pics with mine they never seem to come out nice. Maybe it's just me. I never heard of the mirrorless cameras before. I'll look into that. Thanks 😊 - Schramke  411.0 #15 5:31PM
Do you tap on your phone screen to get it to focus? Another thing about using your phone, you might run out of space or kill your battery. - kayxobelle  156.5 #47 6:23AM
Yes my phone is focused. I just haven't been real impressed with the pics. Is probably me because I see really nice pics other people take. - Schramke  411.0 #15 6:27AM
Brand wise I would go Sony or Canon. My first digital camera is a Sony sureshot. Only slight issue was night shots and that is because I don't like using flash at all. My second in my Canon, which is a bigger camera but takes some great photos. I think I posted it, but the sunset at sea pic I took on our cruise was with that camera. So were the firework shots. No flash in either of those pics. - Lelundrial  445.2 #417 8:14AM

Did you have any specific things that you did at each park? I've heard of people taking this challenge who rode at least one ride, saw one character who only appeared at that particular park, and ate something from each park. (I'm thinking of trying this with my daughter in March.)

Maggie, i have a portable charger now. Mine was brought at Brookstone. With the 7800mah, it charges my phone and tablet all day!!! And yeah, no more problem for me,,, AS LONG AS I DO NOT FORGET TO BRING THE EXTERNAL BATTERY!!! Thank you Maggie :) - otilegna  1750.3 #66 1:23PM
Angelito, I have a portable charger that I used once. Input my phone in airplane mode while charging it too, it goes faster! And as far as the rain, it only rained once and it was while we were on the monorail going from MK to EPCOT. We were SO lucky, but it was HOT!! - ncjal  202.4 #33 1:27PM
For those of you looking for a phone charger (like a case that charges it) you can find them cheap on www.nomorerack.com. I saw them on there yesterday, cheap. I wish I'd had one a few years ago, but I hated to spend $50 for one (back then) for one time or once a year! - DizneyGirl  549.8 #9 1:35PM
