I think it depends on you. I never park hop...but I have small kids so to me it's a hassle. When they are older,maybe I'll try again. For my family it's an extra $300. I rather buy souvenirs.
Have you ever been to WDW? I think you should always try it at least once. But 8 days is good for passing on the park hopper ... If you don't really want the extra expense. - JessiBelle22

We have done both and definitely think the hoppers are worth it. It is really nice to know that if you get to a park and it is too crowded you can jump on the bus and go to another that is less crowded. - poohbr1205

We usually wing it. I just pay a little here and there for the trip. Then payoff and spending money with income tax. I need to do something different though. I did read on a blog once that a lady gets a $25 Disney gift card every time she is out shopping. I think that's a cool start!

I use my Disney Visa for everything to earn rewards to use for vacations. I have heard of some people putting money on a Disney gift card everytime they get paid.
