What's the name of the parade that is on the water, by the Polynesian, I think? Are there other places we can watch it from? Is it a good one? Thanks a bunch!

We have had the quick service and it was great and we didn't like La Hacienda de San Angel because it was way over priced and not very good food or service. Never tried San Angel Inn. - Andrea84  306.4 #15 8:41PM

@ NikkiMickey and other MW friends... You can go to PassPorter.com to check out the passporter and their many blogs. The site has some good info, but I enjoy the passporter book more. It's a DW travel guide with reviews, tips, itineraries, etc, but it also has pull out maps and pages in the back that you can plan and fill out. There is room for confirmation numbers, budgeting, etc. It's very helpful for people who are new to Disney planning. We bought them the last 2 times we've gone, but we won't this time. However, I do find myself, referring to it now even though my latest copy is 2 years old. Happy planning!
Thanks for the info!  I love this book, but was money I didn't want to spend, made my own.  I even put envelopes in the back of the 3 ring binder one for each day.  I pasted a form to each envelope with fields to fill out for the day, park visited, dining experiences, favorite ride of the day (for each of us), etc.  It's fun putting together my 3 ring binders.  I still have them all, people think I'm crazy!! - DizneyGirl  354.6 #10 8:37PM
I like to keep track of our favorites too. At the end of the trip, I always ask everyone they favorites-- meals, rides, parks, shows, etc. It helps with the planning for the next time. Plus, it's so fun. I write it all out on cards, my girls like to decorate he cards and they love being "interviewed.". My husband, well, he just answers the questions because he knows it makes me happy and I'll bug him til he tells me. - BagGal  150.4 #40 9:46PM

Morning Disney lovers! Who is your favorite character and where is your favorite place to see him/her at DW? My faves are Mickey and Minnie, and I love to see them at the character spot in Epcot. Love seeing Minnie in her red polka dot dress! Have a great day!
I like astronaut Goofy at Epcot :-) - justGoofin  103.3 #45 9:15AM

Haven't been to garden grill but cp is pretty good ,has winnie the pooh characters I like the breakfast better ,are you looking for buffets? - tracsant  572.6 #3 12:59PM

Mornin' Disney lovers! What celebrities have you guys run into at our fave parks? We ran into Matt Lauer at MK. He was walking with his son and a cast member, walking right down Main Street. We didn't talk to him, it looked like he was having a special father/son day!
We saw Princess Diana with William and Harry years and years ago at what was then MGM. :) - minniemaclean  12.3 #170 7:21PM
We were there with Angelina Jolie back a few years ago. Never knew it til we saw. People magazine. No wonder some of the rides keep closing unexpectedly. - MagicalFamily  47.6 #72 7:20PM

Have you ever been stuck on a ride at DW? We were stuck on Pooh the first time we went. We were stalled towards the beginning where Tigger bounces up and down. We sat there for about a half hour before they let us walk out. It was neat to walk through it!
Got stuck on the boat ride in Mexico last year. Got some great pics! - Tinkerbell1265  372.1 #8 7:02PM
We we got stuck at the end of splash for about an hour not bad we got fast pass to any other ride in the park at any time - mymosas  9.8 #203 10:32PM
Got stuck on POTC, counted at least 7 boats bumping us from behind. Cast member found us in the dark, we all had to raise our arms and rock side to side to free up our boat from a snag. It was quite the group effort. - EXP626  19.0 #130 10:14PM

Do you guys do all of the parks each time you go? I'm playing with the idea of skipping AK for more time at MK. Some people I know keep talking about Dole whips and I need to make sure I have plenty of time to enjoy them. 😉 However, we were excited to try Tusker House at AK. Hmmmm...
We always go to every park , we don't always stay all day , but we check each one out . Get a Park Hopper for this , that way your not tied to one park that day . - skcanfield  354.6 #9 3:01PM
If you get hopper passes you can do multiple parks on the same day so you won't miss out on any park. I gave skipped AK the last few years opting to spend more time at my favorite park, Epcot. - Tinkerbell1265  372.1 #8 10:12PM

I'm coming to the experts... What is the secret to not feeling so rushed at the parks? We're planning to go for a week and it just doesn't seem like enough time to do our favorites and try new things too! Thank you in advance for your suggestions!
We always wake up at a decent time, at like 7 or 8. Get to the park at around 9 or 9:30, then go through the day.. but our big thing is staying after the night time show. You can go on almost every ride with really short waits. Like pirates we always go on about 4 times in a row with no more than a 5 minute wait. And all the rides that have a huge, like 75 or 90 minute wait or something, always have a wayyyy shorter wait. So after the show it feels a lot more relaxed! - batesjake  8.9 #216 6:52PM
If your staying on property take advantage of extra magic hours where you can stay late in the park and only the people staying at the hotels can go in and early where you can go into the park early if your on property. - klperry07  11.5 #178 6:57PM
I would say have a basic "plan" for each day of "must-do" and "would like to do" things. RELAX, and try not to stress out....there is simply NOT enough time in the day to get every ride and show done and seen. Take advantage of Fast passes when you can, and depending on the ages of the people you are going with, take breaks, even if its to sit down and eat an ice cream bar, watch a parade, or just shop in a gift shop. HAVE A BALL!! - ncjal  116.8 #44 8:21PM
Just realize you cannot do it all. You have to pick and choose the best experiences and build in some extra time for things you might unexpectedly want to stop and do. It's a lot of pressure if you think you have to do it all to get your money's worth. You'll just have to come back some day.😃 - ally  440.5 #4 8:29PM

Is Pirates of the Carribean too scary for my 6 yr old daughter? She is an awesome girl, but she is a little bit of a wimp. :) Thanks!!
Awesome! Thanks so much everybody! I feel like I can prepare her now which will make it more enjoyable for all of us! Thanks again for the tip on watching rides on YouTube. I never thought of that! Guess what I'll be doing the rest of the evening?! - BagGal  150.4 #40 10:04PM
Depends on what she finds scary. You may want to view some videos on YouTube that show the entire ride. It's not so bad but it's kinda dark and there are some skeletons throughout. - Jalex239  379.8 #7 6:44PM
My 6 and 2 year old liked it. I just prepared them that it would be dark. - Ariel42  198.1 #25 8:27PM

DizneyGirl-- I wonder if it only works when you first sign up for an account?? I just tried it on my account and it was different when I backed out. Maybe try setting up a new account under a family member's name?? Does anyone know how to get the discount coupon card from Disney that gives you 30% off the resort price? It's one that comes with your name and a special code on it. Thanks!
All I did was go through the process..signed in to my account. I receive one 2 weeks later. I went to the month I wanted and priced the hotel..didn't even press the checkout button. - justGoofin  103.3 #45 8:29PM

Ok my new friends, if you had to pick between Downtown Disney and the Boardwalk, which would you pick and why? I've only been to DD, always seem pressed for time even though we're there for a week!
DTD has a lot more to do and so many great shops and restaurants! One day that you are at Epcot or HS you could take the boat over to the boardwalk to check it out after the park closes or for dinner! - Andrea84  306.4 #15 11:20PM

Depends on what time we get there. Last time got there at 7am so our room wasn't ready. Got breakfast at the quick service place then we headed to a park. Don't remember which one we started at.
