We book with wdw travel company and they always honor any new discounts.
Also if you book through the wdw website will they apply any discounts or are you stuck with what you booked with in the first place? - disneyworldsbiggestfan

I usually book with wdw website & they have applied a new discount, I just called with confirmation number and asked for whatever the current discount was. You can give them a call to check their policy before booking. - perdita

I booked with Small World Vacations on the mousewait newsletter...they are great! They gave me a $500 discount after booking and paying my vacation off, because Disney offered a discount. They can also book you meals (I didn't use this benefit) or other things...they booked my pirates and pals fireworks cruise though. I will use them again. Its 24 hours notice and $10 per person fee for late cancellation. We did find out this past trip that if you went early to your reservation they would not charge for a no show to your later time. We went 3 hours early to our Beigarten ressie and they said it was fine and we would not be charged for not showing to our ressie.
I know with the tomorrowland terrace deser party we have people call a day before I would assume it is the same everywhere after 24 hrs tho you will probably get charged - cooldisgrl_CM

If you want character dining you could do 1900 park fare at the grand for dinner. I would keep checking for garden grill though. They may have a cancellation.
You could try garden grill if your looking for another character meal. It's on my list to try but other mw'ers have and gave it a great review.😃 - Schramke

We ate at garden grill the last time we were there and loved it. The characters really take their time with you and the restaurant rotates slowly through the land ride. We did Biergarten before. The atmosphere is really fun and kid friendly, but the food is only "ok." Coral Reef had the best food. Nice restaurant with neat aquariums. Kids liked the aquariums but list interest after a while. Def keep trying garden grill. I think it's the best fit for what you're looking for. - Disneyaddict

On our last trip we took the red eye from San Diego and got in at 6 am. We were at our hotel by 7:30 and they had a room ready. We all layed down and slept for about an hour then got up and headed to MK. We took it real slow and had a relaxing day and then went to bed early that night and then got up early the next day to make it to open the next park. - mzdisnee

You sometimes share a bus with Riverside but you get dropped off and picked up first. We will stay here again and again!
We've stayed there. I found no cons to this wonderful resort! Beside the snakes! lol Loved everything about it. One pro is that it's small and everything is in a five to ten minute walking distance. - JessiBelle22

The size of the resort is a major plus. The decor in the lobby and food court is a minus. All the rooms were just recently renovated. Another plus. I really like this resort a lot. - lghr
