I feel like this is kind of a dumb question but....why do people check in online 10 days prior to arriving. if it wasn't for this great site, i wouldn't even of known you can do it! we will be arriving we late at nite, possiblely early morning. Is there a benefit to doing this??? We leave in 11 days! Yay!!!
It's the best thing. You get in pick up you folder with the keys map and get out. Everything u do in the building is done prior to arrival. It easy and great. Do it. You will be glad you did - 5disneylovers

Ive never done it but apparently it saves you time once you arrive? Ive never had to wait long when i arrive at my hotelbut i guess if theres a big crowd when you arrive and you have checked in prior 10 days ago, i suppose it does ssave you time! - Boardwalkgirl

Saved us a ton of time at check in, also we arrived way before "check in time" but our rooms were ready since they knew we would be arriving early due to online check in - Pixarprincess

Thank god we did it for our last trip! We had a group of 30 and our reservations were all screwed up! Those of us who did online got things fixed ahead of time, those who didn't spent a lot of time at the check in counter! - timonT

We aren't going till Nov, but I have a question.....we are staying Pop Century and we have reservation for breakfast at the castle at 8:15. The park doesn't open till 9:00 that day. Will bus service get is there on time? If not...what are my other options?
The bus runs early for that reason and should be the best way for you to travel unless you drive. Driving will actually slow you down because you'll have to park then take a monorail or ferry boat to the main gate. Give yourself about 45 min to an hour by bus but no less than 30 min and you should arrive on time. - Jalex239

Yes, what Jalex239 said! The busses arrive at the resorts an hour before the parks open. So, you will be fine! Disney busses usually always run smooth and get you there by when you need to get there. I believe when we stayed at pop, it took like 15 mins to get to MK. Not long. - DesiBelle9

We are up and at'em with breakfast ressies at other resorts between 7-8. For that reason, going resort to resort, we just get a cab, and then use the bus service after breakfast to get to the parks. :) - mrsincredible

You guys are so helpful, so have another question! We are going to WDW in Nov. Over Thanksgiving. I made breakfast reservations at Tusker House. We are trying to eat a meal at each park then spend the day there. My daughter loves Minnie, but I didn't see Minnie on the line up. Does anyone know if she is at Donald's breakfast? If not, I may have to make a another one!
Minnie Mouse may appear at the Breakfast, but isn't a gurantee...i've never eaten at the Tusker House so, I can't give a personal experience with the characters I saw there. But, I read that on All Ears.net. If you wanted to see Minnie Mouse for sure, you can eat breakfast at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary...their breakfast is so yummy & fun! :) - DesiBelle9

Minnie was not at tusker house when we went last June. There is a meet and greet with Minnie at magic kingdom. You can get a fast pass for it. - Disneyaddict

hi everyone! quick question.....can you bring a bag or purse with you on the roller coaster type rides? or do you have to leave them with a stroller? sorry for the random question!
Some roller coasters have a pouch for u to put your belongings in it. - yessy

I think as long as it fits along with you and your ride partner. And if it's small enough to where you won't have a problem holding on to it ... I don't see why not. Maybe a fanny pack? hehe - JessiBelle22

Thank you everyone! We took a weekend trip to a small amusement park and they wouldn't let me bring my cross body purse on any of the rides (they weren't big rollercoasters) and u had to leave it. I didn't like that idea and just wanted to make sure! Thanks so much for the help! - momknowsbest

this is my first post, but I really enjoy reading reading post on here daily. We will be going to WDW during Thanksgiving. My girls (4 and 7 yrs old) have each picked out a character meal they want to go to. Other than that, do I have to make reservations for every sit down meal? The last time we were there they were 2 1/2 and 10 wks old. We don't know what they are going to want to do, and we don't want to be tied down by reservation. Is this a bad idea? Would it be a better idea to plan the meals in advance? I know it will be crowded! We have the dining plan with one sit down and one quick service. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!!
I would pick the park you are going to each day and try to plan your sit down meal at the park. We have a 6 and 2 year old and this works great for us! Have fun planning!! - Ariel42
