Very exciting! I may do the Wine & Dine again in 2014 for my C2C. But, I want to get through 2013's race before I decide. This weekend I had one friend complete the DDD and another (Mzdisnee) complete her first Half. This combined with a good 11 mile run of my own has left me so excited for November! I now know I will be ready! Before I decided to register, I started incorporating some running (30 sec to 1 min at a time) into my walking routine, just to see if I could do it. Then, I decided to start Jeff Galloway's training program early, essentially doubling it. I complete every long run twice before upping the mileage. My second attempts have been noticeably easier! It is still hard, but I get through it and recover quickly. Stick to the training program, running three times a week (at least), because it works! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad

Best luck to you , jay and I have slowly been training , we won't be able to join you for the wine and dine , we are going for the TOT 10 miler weekend, only dates that will work for us, I know you will do great:) - tracsant

You can do it! We did out first C2C last year (2013). The plan for 2014 is to do it again. Tink will be my SO's first 1/2 then we will get him the C2C the same year.
The Galloway training is good "easy" training for any run. :) - Shunasee
