We got ours at the wdw site
If you purchase in advance they are like $55.95 +tax for ages 10+ and $50.95+tax for ages 3-9. The price will go up if u wait until day of event. $62.95/$57.95 - disneycm  328.6 #12 7:50AM
Some days sell out so its a good idea to order in advance. You can call 407-w-disney and order them that way. I don't know exactly when they will go on sale though. Probably in April or May. - girlonfire  35.2 #88 9:01AM

We use the park hopper each time we go we go to a park then go back to the hotel to rest then to another park after we rest wont go without a park hopper
Goodmorning. That is a great time to visit and the weather is still wonderful. We used to do both when the kids were teenagers and we were younger, now we do the base tickets withe the fun and more. 14 days is a great amount of time to be there and don't know what else you have planned but if you do the fun and more we break up our days with 2 days in park and a free day( being a water park, DTD or Disney quest ). Go park hopper. Nice to be able to bounce around during the day. Taking the buses in between the parks is not bad. I have seen some recent posts on the DL side of people whining about the buses. I guess I am not spoiled since I don't own a car, but it is very easy and you do not lose a lot of time. - Lelundrial  341.2 #429 11:25AM

We went last year crowds wasn't to bad the weather wasn't to bad eather it rained in the morning but nice after dont miss mnsshp

Weather should be great and crowds should be lighter at the beginning of your trip and will be heavier as you approach Halloween. I hope you booked the mickeys not so scary Halloween party. That's about the time of year I go. The weather is perfect, low 80's and low humidity. The parks can be crowded, the Food & Wine Festival is very popular (for good reason) and there may be conventions in town. But, if you pick the right park on the right day it's manageable.
