I agree with MzDisnee, read the guide and get to know the rides. only do the WDW exclusive rides. the others are the same. Then you can go to DW website and make ur own customized map and itinerary to help navigate the parks easier. you can also download a pdf map to get to know the parks - ariel116

agree with brodysmommy, go to all the attractions and rides that is not available at Disneyland... If you are staying at a Disney Resort, take advantage of magic Hours and plan it accordingly! Spend One Day for every park, but then go hopping if the park you choose close early (definitely Animal Kingdom). Get an external battery for your phone. Also, if you are planning to go to a Table-Service restaurant, it is time-consuming but a good experience (EPCOT has the cool restaurants, especially if you want to try some foods from different countries).

The Disney website is helpful to plan your meals, etc. I like having extra time at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. You can pretty much see/do everything at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom in a full day for each. Don't miss a park, all four are special and unique in their own way. We love them all! Our favs are MK, EP/AK tied for second, and HS third. Definitely take time to check out the deluxe resorts and ride the monorail (you can schedule dining at the other resorts as an excuse to go!) They have so many things to do at Downtown Disney as well as some miniture golf, etc. So much to do, you will not see it all while you're there even with that long of a stay, but you will get to see/do alot!! I have been more than a dozen times and I am still experiencing new things every time we go! Have fun and enjoy the planning process. Read everything you can. For the first time i say 10 days would be perfect. DHS will take about 1-1 and a half days, depending on how much you're interested in doing. AK will take about 2 on your first trip. MK and EPCOT I would reserve for Extra Magic Hour days, even though its hectic, it is well worth it to us! They will each probably take 3 days. That should leave u some relaxation days and DTD time. I had the premier pass last year. IT IS A GOOD DEAL! im on the Disneyland side, and I visited WDW twice, 16 days in total. I just added $250 for my pass that time, but that price already covered my tickey to WDW! And you will get ALL THEBENEFITS OF AN ANNUAL PASSHOLDER :)

Well, we live in southern CA and my dad got one for this year because he had a trip to WDW and we regularly go to DL. He found it to be very cost effective. I think it all depends on how many trips you plan to make to both parks. - coolbeans32

It all depends on how often you go. We got them when we went to WDW last June and have definitely got our money's worth. You also get the club 33 food discount at DL which is either 20% or 30%. If you go often enough, I definitely recommend it. - Disneyaddict

We're taking Mr I's parents and our nephew in June. Their first time. Plan to show them as much as we can, give them the whole Disney experience, dining at our fav places, but also at new to us places too that I have been wanting to try. Had them completely in mind when I made our ressies - what would they really enjoy? So we settled on Hoop Dee Do and 50's Prime Time for his parents, and Chef Mickey's and Rainforest for our nephew, to name a few! It's also our youngest's first time, he's 2, so added Hollywood and Vine and Crystal Palace for him. And, of course, BOG for me, and many others that everyone should enjoy. I never stayed at the Shades of Green because they do not have a shuttle to/from Orlando international airport (idk if they changed that already). My co-worker stayed there 2 yrs ago as a wedding gift from my command (yeah, all of us shared money for the Disney trip for them). The Military ticket is a good deal, just make sure of the blackout dates
I've not stayed at SoG, but talked with a couple in line at Soarin' and they couldn't rave about it enough. We did military tickets on year as my dad joined us and bought them for us, they are just for a short period though. - DizneyGirl
