Just took the boat to Wilderness Lodge. Had a yummy/funny lunch at Whispering Canyon Cafe! Mind blown. Simply awesome.

We love the boat ride from Wilderness Lodge. our last visit we drove to Wilderness Lodge and rode the boat over to Magic Kingdom to see the parade and left during the fireworks and it was so awesome to watch the fireworks from the boat . - DizneyGirl  354.1 #9 9:07PM

I have a question...I have read everywhere that one of the slowest times at WDW is the first full week of jan through just before Pres day weekend. However, many of the Disney resorts are full for feb 5-12 as well as certain main gate passes being blacked out for MK for that time too...can anyone shed any light?
New Fantasyland is all I know of. I am bummed because we are going the 2nd of Feb to the 9th and are having to use comp passes to go to MK. Hoping that they unblock us like they did last Summer for DCA - Deltachiq  969.0 #90 2:50AM

I have a question...I have read that one of the slowest times at WDW is the first week of Feb until President's day weekend. However, a lot of the resorts are completely booked for feb 5-12 and certain main gate passes are blacked out for the same time...anyone know why and could shed some light on the subject? Thanks!

I'm hoping someone can shed some light...we will arrive at WDW In a few hours :) We aren't going in to the parks until tomorrow. We are staying at Pop Century while here for my daughter's DCP check in. Is there a place outside of MK to see the fireworks? Our Feb trip we'll be at Wilderness Lodge so we plan to check that out too! Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated! We are pros at DL, kind of lost at WDW!
You can see the EPCOT fireworks from a bridge on the boardwalk between the beach club and ESPN. It is a little difficult to see the globe in the water but a great free view of the fireworks. Then after go on the boardwalk to see the magicians/jugglers. It is a great night. - Boardwalk245  12.8 #165 2:03PM

Driving with my daughter to Orlando in 10 days for her to check in for the Disney College Program! Mixed emotions at our house! We are so looking forward to our Disney Day (just the 2 of us) the day before check in! We are AP's at DL but haven't visited WDW in many years!

Really excited to check out WDW for the first time in 15 years! We have been DLR AP's and been there many times. My daughter just got accepted to the Disney college program as a performer at WDW! Can't wait to visit the other coast and see all the magic at WDW!!
