I'm quite bummed that my favorite sunglasses broke. I haven't had them very long. There's gotta be some kind of super duper bonding glue that I can use to fix it. Regular super glue doesn't work, I tried it. 😔
Gorilla glue....that's what y husband uses to fit everything. - TinkTinkTink  190.0 #37 5:18PM
^^Haha, by chance, does it fix boyfriends too? 😃 Thanks for the suggestion! - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 5:30PM

Well I found some "gap filling" glue. So far the frames seem to be holding together. I'm going to let them sit over night then see if it needs anything else. Thanks everyone for your suggestions! 😀 - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 6:50PM

If Disney World decides to copy then alter World of Color the way they did Fantasmic!...then please just let it be in California. It would be awfully difficult to replicate since the Ferris wheel and roller coaster (seen in the background) are actually part of the show. I don't think Disney World would be willing to build all that just for one show. - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 8:54PM

I have been meaning to comment for a while about on my Disney World trip how I really loved the added effect of the wood creaking in the portrait gallery of the Haunted Mansion. Then I came back home and went to DL and realized that our Haunted Mansion is so old the portrait gallery creaks on its own....bahahahahahaha!! Unintentional, but funny! 😂
Lol. That's cool that you noticed that. I don't think I even notice. - 5disneylovers  775.7 #5 3:34PM
Well I think for us, given that we've been on the DL Haunted Mansion hundreds of times we know what little sights, sounds, and smells to expect. So even the smallest differences at WDW stood out to us. But I still liked that extra little touch at WDW's version. Ours is just unintentional. - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 4:06PM

Ahhh! It's good to be back home. From Carsland earlier today. Disney World was nice but my heart will always lie with the original blue print. Though Radiator Springs Racers is based off of the Test Track ride system, and only goes about half as fast, it's loads more fun. Dad gum! 😃
There's no place like home. - goofygal  6139.6 #11 8:45PM
Well in that case we will not invite you back until they step up the game lol I suspect I would feel that way when I come to DL. Lol - 5disneylovers  775.7 #5 7:37PM
There's a lot of truth in what you say. I think most people tend to prefer what they are familiar or comfortable with. If you went on Radiator Springs Racers, you may not enjoy it as much because it doesn't go nearly as fast as Test Track, and that speed is what you may want or expect, BUT the quality and presentation of the storyline is part of what makes it so fun, not to mention that the audio-animatronics used inside are PHENOMENAL. But to each their own. :) - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 7:14PM

The ONLY thing my boyfriend requested we see the entire trip was this silly show. I prefer the ride at DL. He took the pic and he loved the show.
Sorry you didn't enjoy it! 😢 Indiana Jones is a big part of American film history. It's a must-see for us every trip. In Dec, the kids went down front after the show for a pic with Indy - they loved it! - mrsincredible  769.9 #6 3:53PM
Mine too. My son loved meeting Indy and Marion. The best part was that hubby let out kids watch the movie on the flight home from FL. They were transfixed the entire time. Now they totally understand the show and DLs ride!!! - mzdisnee  437.4 #14 9:19PM
The show yes. The ride. I gotta sit them down and teach them the proper history of the story. - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 9:39PM
Ok Indy you do that during your next CA visit :) - mzdisnee  437.4 #14 9:59PM
........silly?....LMA is more impressive? 89 vs 2005. Indy is just as equally dangerous and is actually more popular than LMA - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 8:44PM
I think the biggest reason I wasn't as "entertained" by the Indiana show is because it focuses largely on hand-to-hand stunt combat, and I've seen a ton of stunt shows just like that. Watching hand-to-hand stunt combat live you see how over-exaggerated it is and it can come off a bit cheesy. Hand-to-hand stunt combat looks great right where it belongs...in the movies. - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 11:46PM
LMA hands down. Indiana comes across cheesy - timonT  250.9 #26 9:10PM
Well fine. Ill make sure you don't see any of the shots I post from the show. - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 9:13PM

Go for the stunts. Not the dialogue. - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 9:38PM

Well, today is our last full day here in Florida. Off to see the Harry Potter world at Universal Studios! Hopefully we'll be able to make one last quick trip to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom tomorrow.
All your comments are great! I rode Forbidden Journey six times. They even let me stay on and go around again. My boyfriend tapped out after two times. It was too much motion for him. I LOVED that ride, so much fun! Clearly I couldn't get enough of it. - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 5:05PM

I made it through the first time on that ride. Don't go on it again ... RIGHT after. I needed to sit down for about an hour. Felt like I was still moving. - veronica619  517.6 #333 12:42PM
We have 3 of those buttebeer mugs. Forbidden Journey moves way more than Star Tours. However, Star Tours is now 3D and that is what may do you in. - Lelundrial  445.7 #417 1:02PM
Yes for me it's not the movement, its curtain kind of 3D...like things that move super fast non stop... - islandgirl58  251.8 #25 1:30PM

Kind of a weird question, but does anyone know of a place at any of the parks where you can get breakfast foods after traditional breakfast hours?
Hmmm, not sure, unless you go for a cinnamon roll at Gaston's Tavern, MK, or my fav, a cupcake at HS... hey, all the rules go out the window at DW!! 🍴 - mrsincredible  769.9 #6 9:50AM
The waffles from Sleepy Hallow at MK are available all day or at Staring Rolls in HS you can get muffins and cinnamon rolls until about 3pm. I can't really think of somewhere that you can get bacon, eggs, etc. all day. - Andrea84  627.0 #7 9:55AM

Thinking of doing an in park RAK for a complete set of Carsland buttons at the Magic Kingdom tomorrow. Would anyone even be interested in these? We brought a ton of these with us hoping we could give them out to CMs that we thought were really fun and cool, but we haven't met too many of them. So my boyfriend and I just saw Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios, and we were having a discussion about both the California and Florida versions of the show. We've seen the California version countless times, so we picked up on all the big and little differences. What we wanted to know is if there is anyone here who saw the Florida version first, then saw the California version? What were your thoug  More...
I was an opening night viewer of Fantasmic here...loved it until I saw DLs...then wept at how horrible ours is - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 7:13PM
LOL, my boyfriend laughed out loud when I read him this comment. While the Florida version isn't altogether bad, I think it is missing a few of the key elements that made the California version so successful. - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 7:31PM
Lol!!!! I was going to answer for Indy if he didn't. I remember the conversation we had about the differences :) - mzdisnee  437.4 #14 7:59PM
Hush you - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 8:01PM
I haven't had the pleasure of seeing the CA version yet but I've heard how great it is and pretty much all on here say that one is the much better version - tracsant  913.3 #2 6:51PM
I started with the DL version (my absolute favorite) then saw the WDW version. Trust me, I noticed the differences! All of my favorite parts were missing. All I like about WDW's is that they have seating (albeit not the most comfortable). That being said, I don't think I am qualified to answer your question. Let me just end with this.. In the war of Fantasmic's, there is no contest! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  807.0 #3 6:53PM
I totally get it. We just wanted to know if we were crazy for thinking that the California version is much grander and more epic than the Florida version. - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 7:17PM
Oh in more ways that one. Our dragon is on a crane with some techs acting as puppeteers for the wings... - IndyandMarion  1236.9 #1 7:30PM
LOL! I'm picturing a really bad high school skit! - CollegeDisneyKnowledgeGrad  807.0 #3 7:37PM
LOL, it's funny you mention the dragon, 'cause we actually liked that the show stuck with the "old school" dragon from the original show. We sorta miss the old cherry picker! :) - NotNKansasAnymor  204.9 #1785 7:44PM
I started with Florida. I love it! Honestly though I had no problem with the California version. They only reason I pick Florida version more is the amphitheater. I like having the perk of being able to sit down and watch the show! Still a fan of California though! :) - codiejoe  142.6 #51 7:12PM
