Flashback Friday: this is from a very foggy Tea Cups at Disneyland on New Years Eve about 5 or 6 years ago.
I'm quite bummed that my favorite sunglasses broke. I haven't had them very long. There's gotta be some kind of super duper bonding glue that I can use to fix it. Regular super glue doesn't work, I tried it. π
THE LAGOON IS ON FIRE! Courtesy of World of Color. Just had to post this one. βΊ
Just wanted to share a couple of pics I took the other day. This is the crowd viewing World of Color from Paradise Pier at California Adventure.
I took this on Main St., U.S.A. at Disneyland yesterday. I love how the picture has a real vintage feel to it.
Just wanted to share this. One of the last pics I took at the Magic Kingdom on the last day of our trip earlier this month. I really enjoyed the street performers on the trolley. So simple, but they seem so appropriate.
I have been meaning to comment for a while about on my Disney World trip how I really loved the added effect of the wood creaking in the portrait gallery of the Haunted Mansion. Then I came back home and went to DL and realized that our Haunted Mansion is so old the portrait gallery creaks on its own....bahahahahahaha!! Unintentional, but funny! π
So it's still the 9th here in California, but it's the 10th in Florida, which makes it my birthday. Gosh, as a kid I couldn't wait for my birthday, now I dread it. LOL already had my early b-day by going to Disney World earlier in the month. Looking forward to a day at DL with my friends and family.
Ahhh! It's good to be back home. From Carsland earlier today. Disney World was nice but my heart will always lie with the original blue print. Though Radiator Springs Racers is based off of the Test Track ride system, and only goes about half as fast, it's loads more fun. Dad gum! π
The ONLY thing my boyfriend requested we see the entire trip was this silly show. I prefer the ride at DL. He took the pic and he loved the show.
Look what I found at Epcot! LOL
From coast to coast! We fly back home tonight. One last quick trip to Magic Kingdom and Epcot tiday. Already have a trip planned for Friday to my home park of Disneyland!
Well, today is our last full day here in Florida. Off to see the Harry Potter world at Universal Studios! Hopefully we'll be able to make one last quick trip to Magic Kingdom or Animal Kingdom tomorrow.
Kind of a weird question, but does anyone know of a place at any of the parks where you can get breakfast foods after traditional breakfast hours?
Live! Empty Main St. Good night!
Interesting, yesterday this was completely drained and technicians in hard hats were working out on the track. Tonight they are running empty logs through. That's fast!
I just had to post this! This is what my boyfriend said when he saw this, "Look! A tiny ball because they do everything bigger in Disney World!" LOL
Thinking of doing an in park RAK for a complete set of Carsland buttons at the Magic Kingdom tomorrow. Would anyone even be interested in these? We brought a ton of these with us hoping we could give them out to CMs that we thought were really fun and cool, but we haven't met too many of them. We only have a few days left here and we'd like to hand out as many as possible.
So my boyfriend wants to know...Malestrom, the ride...what up with that? We did this ride the other day, when we were done, my boyfriend turned to me and said, "Norway...kinda weird." I was a little confused, largely 'cause I couldn't really hear the audio narration to the attraction. Can anyone shed some light about the who's and why's of the attraction?
So my boyfriend and I just saw Fantasmic! at Hollywood Studios, and we were having a discussion about both the California and Florida versions of the show. We've seen the California version countless times, so we picked up on all the big and little differences. What we wanted to know is if there is anyone here who saw the Florida version first, then saw the California version? What were your thoughts? Did you like the California version better? Or did you prefer the version you're more familiar with in Florida?
