needing pixie dust my daughter has strept throat and running a 103.5 found out my sons bones are gowing to fast and his muscles are having a hard time keepin up. We will know the treatment plan in 2 weeks until then ice and ibuprofen. I think my husband is coming down with something. When it rains it pours. Sorry its not about disney. But thank you.

Thank youI dont like to cook while on vaca but I just might have to, or make the kids share a meal or 2. Or go with qs instead of getting dining. I cant eat all of my meals and and I know the 3 & 5 year old dont eat a whole lot.
Some tips to stretch your money we have had to do in the past when we didn't have the dinning. We take boxes of cereal with us to Disney and we have breakfast in the room avoids the morning food court crowds. We take granola bars and snacks to the parks along with our hotel mugs ( each child has their own cinch sac ) and they carry their cups and snacks they want for the day fill their cups with water when thirsty. Then we sit and have a nice dinner or we will order a pizza and have it around the pool at night. That is pretty much what we do if we don't have the free dinning an we do share a lot of meals also. Thinking about a trip. There would be 3 adults and 4 kids 3, 5, 8,& 12 ages. where should we stay on or off property? 1 room or 2? And should we get dining plan or not? trying to go the cheapest way but it is not cheap If I go with the dining plan & room pkg. I love to stay on property. Please help. Any input would be helpful.We would be going in Sept, Oct, Jan, or Feb to avoid crowds.
If you go in sept oct you can get free dining. You need room at minimum. Since your spending most of your time out if the room you need the mos economical. I say pop century or one if the value resorts. The only thing you would pay for is hotel and park passes. Hope this help. Stay on property. - 5disneylovers

If you are looking for a trip on the cheap, staying offsite with that many in your crew is significantly cheaper. If you want to stay onsite, then you can do Art of Animation suites, but they are more than the moderate resorts. There's also the cabins that would work for you. The dining plan can save if you are big eaters . . . for us, we don't eat dessert at all our meals at home, and we prefer water so paying for those is more and we wind up saving by not doing the dining plan. If you go in September there is free dining, which we almost always do :), last year I missed the deadline. There are no crowds in September, but this year from what I heard October was busier than normal. Not been in Jan or Feb. Planning is so much fun, ENJOY!! - DizneyGirl

We travel with 8, I get two rooms at pop century and I get them connected we open the doors between us and it works out great. We go during valu season which can save you money and we also have annual passes which saves money also if you are not doing a dinning plan. If you ate going to go the route of qs and not do an sit downs you pretty much break even or sometimes even a little less. It's just conveint to have it all paid and in the card. Ok-I just seen where disney released there Military benefits for 2013. My question is can a disabled Vetern use this or is it just the Active and Retired Military? I may have to just call SOG but thought I'd ask the experts first.

Do it! You won't regret it. NO cons to autograph books! Here's a tip, buy a book and leave the left page blank and have the characters sign on the right side, then when you get home, glue a picture of that character on the left side of the book! I'll try to post pictures of what we did. You can buy books that offer a photo sleeve on the left, but the don't have as many pages, the years we bought those we ran out of pages :( - DizneyGirl

Ok MW can someone tell me about the pin trading and how it works? I am thinking about buying some off of Ebay but not sure. Please help!
Sure! Pin trading is a blast. :) You can find "official" trading rules if you do a Google search, but here's what you should know -- you can only trade pins for pins (no money can be exchanged). If you want to trade with Cast Members in the parks, make sure they don't have a teal green lanyard -- those are for trading with kids only! I believe you can only trade 2 or 3 pins at a time with Cast Members. You can't give them a pin for trade that they already have on their lanyard. And buying pins on eBay is tricky only because there are so many scrappers (i.e. counterfeit pins) out there now! :( A lot of pins in large eBay lots can be scrappers. You can also check if any of the pins you have trader for are scrappers by using a large magnet -- If the pin is magnetic, it's a scrapper. Most of all, HAVE FUN and enjoy it! I keep a bunch of traders on me all the time and I often just give them away to kids I meet in the parks that are getting started with trading -- it's so fun to watch their faces light up. :) Hope that helps! - BreadAndButterfly

After seeing your question I checked amazon out of curiosity. You have a person there selling them in lots of 30. Read the reviews and their are fakes mixed in with the real ones. The bad thing, is the people that bought them are trading them to get real ones. I would be very wary of buying from eBay as well. I would suggest checking the disneystore website, I am sure there are some pins on sale there. - Lelundrial
