Hi everyone. I am taking my son this week to check in for the Disney College Program :)....so exciting!! I have a question tho - I have to watch the super bowl on Sunday. Any idea where I might have a chance to see it? I wasn't sure if there was somewhere at Downtown Disney or ESPN zone?? Any suggestion would help 😊. Thank you!!!
I don't know the answer to your question...but congrats to your son on DCP!!! My daughter did it and LOVED every second!! Have fun! - brittandkell  519.3 #418 12:57AM
Congrats to your son. You should be able to watch several places. Best one might be ESPN at The Boardwalk.  - DizneyGirl  961.1 #8 3:28AM
Congrats to him. Wish him the best of luck!  Have fun watching the Super Bowl at Disney. We enjoy watching games from ESPN it is so fun but it does get busy early and then now one leaves because of the games. We have never stayed for a whole game. Enjoy wherever you decide to go - mmddgp  1056.5 #7 12:03PM

Soooo very hot at Disneyland. It was 106 degrees yesterday...ugh. Still having a blast tho! :)
CM said people were fainting everywhere. And everyone grumpy, really really hot! - jacdanfan  11884.2 #6 2:13PM
We went when it was the hottest day in Anaheim history... 117! It was ridiculous! Brody was 18 months old and we felt so bad for him. And it was in September! The stores weren't cool, or food places, not even the tiki room. We had to go to bugs land and that's when we discovered they had the squirting water... Brody cooled off but was dry instantly. We couldn't complain too much because we got in for free that day but just wished it was a little more bearable. Hang in there.. - brodysmommy  434.3 #517 2:32PM

Has anyone ever purchased the Disney Premier Passport? It is a bit pricy, but we are going to Disneyland in a week and Disneyworld in December for the lights. I also just found out that my oldest son was just accepted into the college program at Disneyworld!!!! :). I will just HAVE to go see him then too! I just wondered how the pass was for anyone who has it. Thanks :)
Congrats on your sons acceptance into the college program! I visited WDW in 2013 and purchased the Premier card for the trip. I found it was worth while in getting it. It helped with parking at both DL and WDW sides. My only suggestion would be is think about how many trips to either parks you will make while you have the pass. I live close to DL so it acted as my annual pass for DL after my trip. - Donaldfan_532  248.1 #1409 11:10PM
I thought about getting it for our trip because we are stopping off at Disneyland on our way to disneyworld. It worked out cheaper another way though.  - TrueFromOzLovesDisney  534.9 #407 11:44PM
I got the premier passport. I love it! Coz 365 days of valid visit to wdw and dL. It is worth it if u will go to the prks a lot! Discounts is awesome (DL IS better discount than wdw). But u can also access room discounts gor wdw hotels, and passholder merch too) - otilegna  2692.9 #54 10:22AM
We also got that AP a few years ago...it's well worth it...now we hardly go to DL, so we just get the florida AP.  - islandgirl58  461.6 #19 11:27AM

Hi all! I have an odd question... It turns out my mom is coming with my son and me to Disneyland. She has a hard time getting out of the Space Mountain cars in Disney World with them being so low and one in front of the other. I thought I saw a picture of disney land space mtn cars that were side by side. I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the space mtn cars at Disneyland....maybe m  More...
Yes they sit 2 in a row... Dl space is like WDW splash... Dl splash sits like WDW space. Make sense? You do walk in and sit down and it could be kinda low but since she could sit next to someone they could help her in and out. Make sense? - brodysmommy  434.3 #517 2:19PM
Awesome.  Thank you so much! - modisneyluv  16.0 #195 3:15PM
I'm gonna assume WDW space is like DL Matterhorn. They are side by side seats here but I gotta advise you that Space mountains loading and unloading is very fast pace and if you take a while getting in and out of the seats, it basically shuts down the whole attraction (DL Space has one track that continuously moves) - missmimi90  2033.3 #83 3:30PM
WDW Space is like the Matterhorn. Single file and painful. - Lelundrial  687.7 #294 3:44PM

So very excited!! Took advantage of great airfare prices and booked a quick trip to Disneyland! Haven't been there since I was young. I know alot about disneyworld but not disneyland. I have no idea about where to eat etc I am very lost but very happy!! . If anyone has any advice...I'll take it :)
That's so exciting! Just a heads up, there are lots of refurbishments happening right now, so be sure to look at the DL calendar so that you know what's closed before you arrive (two big ones, I think, are Matterhorn and Splash Mountain, and the castle moat is currently being drained). As far as food, we rarely make reservations, but if there's something you know you'll want to do, it's a good idea to just call Disney Dining and do that ahead of time. Blue Bayou overlooks POTC, and the new Carthay Circle in DCA is gorgeous. They are now doing Fastpass distribution for Fantasmic, with dining packages, so you might want to check that out. Have fun!! :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar  622.1 #337 8:34AM
Fun! Disneyland is my home resort as I only live a few hours away. When are you vacationing? The one big difference is that it is not as planned out :) - fab5  150.0 #2760 10:39AM

Hello MW friends. I have a child's zipper hoodie that I have been holding on to for a while. I would really like someone who appreciates Disney to get some use out of it. This a gray "Stitchy" zipper hoodie that is a child extra small. It has a stitch in back and the name stitch in front . I think my son wore it when he was 2? Maybe 3? Could anyone use this?
So cute. I would take it in a heart beat if my grandkids were that little. Hope someone could use it😘 - mmddgp  1056.5 #7 8:23PM

I have a few days to add memory maker to my vacation package. We have never really used any photo package at Disney- we just took our own. Is it worth the price to add it? Thanks!!
Just depends really... it's a must for some and not so much for others. I haven't gotten it in the last several trips, but got it for my anniversary trip in a few weeks because I want to try and capture as many different types of pics of us together as possible (without having to carry my big camera with me all the time - only taking my iPhone with me to the parks this trip). Remember though, you don't have to buy the Memory Maker in order to take advantage of Photopass photographers and pic opps in the parks. They will take pics for you with your own camera (and theirs). Just keep in mind they aren't always 100% dependable (quality pic wise). - mrsincredible  1316.0 #4 8:28AM
What a great idea for your anniversary trip!! We have very few whole family pics and even less pics of just the 2 of us!!! πŸ’ - brittandkell  519.3 #418 8:52AM
We did it this trip and my vote would DEFINITELY be YES!! We have VERY few pics with all of us in it and now we have a lot!! We were jumping in front of cameras everywhere! We LOVE the magic shots and ride photos etc! My husband counted last night and we have 149 pics (and a couple of videos) so we paid 1.00 a pic!! So worth it!!!!!! - brittandkell  519.3 #418 8:48AM
I have already warned Mr I we will be posing together A LOT. 😜 - mrsincredible  1316.0 #4 9:34AM

Can someone help me? I am so confused with this fast pass + We are not the planning type....well not down to the minute. We kind of go where we feel like going and park hop often. With the fast passes do you only get the 3 fast passes that you choose on fast pass+ or are there still the "old fashioned" fast passes ? So confused lol. Thanks!!!
You can still use the old fast passes also. We are not planners to the minuet either but it was nice to not have to run in the park to get your first fp for the must do popular ride. You also can only choose the 3 in the same park. We chose fp+ for three of the days, one day we used all three one day we used only one ant he other none because we went early and could walk on all the rides so didn't use it. Happy planning - mmddgp  1056.5 #7 3:00AM
Thank you!! :0) - modisneyluv  16.0 #195 10:50PM
If you value your time so much and really dont care/not curious to see the queue area, get a fastpass+ to a very popular ride (Soarin, Test Track, to name a few). It will save u a lot of time and you can enjoy more of the stuff at the parks. Last Minute planning for fastpass+ is available (if u get lucky). Im able to use it during my weekend trip... Time was a factor to me then, so i try to avoid waiting for so long... Also, paper fastpass do ran oout quick! (Test Track is my example,i boarded the ride during opening hour,9:00am , walk-on 10mins (designing car not included in that time). Board the ride and finished it off. Once i get out of the bulding, fastpass availability is for 8pm. Standby lines was 45mins... And the time then was 9:30am!!!)....... Just Have fun at the parks - otilegna  2692.9 #54 4:35PM
The disney website is having problems with fast pass+ right now. The only thing that I am worries about is that we are meeting a friend there so we probably won't be able to get fast passes together. Hopefully they will get the site fixed quick There are certain rides that I would like to get fast passes for because I do not want to stand in line for two hours for toy story mania :). I only have eight days....I'm so excited !!!!!! - modisneyluv  16.0 #195 5:33PM
