They've been looking into launching aircraft off the pointy ends of carriers using the Reversing Polarity magnets, like the ones on Rocking Roller Coaster. However, steam powered catapults are still the most powerful and most practical. I've spent 7 of my 20 NAVY years aboard Bird Farms (aircraft carriers). - Experiment869  24.2 #116 7:49PM
