Good morning, MW!! It's official! We're booked at Art of Animation, Lion King family suite for December 3-8!! I'm sooo excited!! This will be our first Holiday season at Disney. Any suggestions for things that are a must-see/do?? Any help would be great!! TIA =)
We went this past dec from the 3 to the 10th..lol we had a blast. Went to Mickey's Xmas party and my 2 and 6 yrd loved it! We also did our holiday photo there and everyone seemed to love it. Depends on where your from if it's cold to you. We are from Seattle and we were not cold. Enjoy - cheekymouse

I have a question for my MW family. Has anyone stayed at the cabins at Fort Wilderness? We're trying to decide if we want to book a cabin or stay at Art of Animation in December. I like the themed resorts, but I wonder if having a full kitchen at my fingertips might save me money in the long run. Any thoughts?
Friends of ours have done the cabins. Said they were ok but campground is noisy. I would do the new hotel. I loved having the full kitchen on our last trip. We did breakfast every morning in the room and used our dp for lunch and dinner. - Ariel42

We stayed at the cabins. It was roomy. Our only issue was that the general store wasnt open early and it closed early. Plus it took about an hour to get to the parks. We had to take bus from the cabin to the Main bus stop to board another bus to get to the parks. - AKangie
